It is signed miller and its in fine working order. The base without any damage or losses whatsoever and measuring 15 inches tall to the top of the socket. The base retains its original socket and sattelite pull. The shade measures 8.5 inches tall to the bottom of the glass, with the glass having no losses, breaks, or chips. Its perfect in other words. The leading/beading also in perfect condition and having no weaknesses or losses. Both base and shade in original patina as well. This is as good as it gets for a 100+ year old lamp folks. The total height with the shade in place is 23 inches. Thanks for looking and please check out my other great lighting sales as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function. When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it. This is a nice leaded lamp with great color as you can see. The handel base measures 24 inches tall and the shade is 18.5 inches wide, so this is a large lamp folks. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It has a three socket cluster and its been recently rewired with correct period style cloth cord and old plug. The patina worn a little bit on the base as would be expected for a 100 year old base. The shade in original condition with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. A few stray tight age cracks, 8 or so, here or there as would be expected for a leaded shade such as, especially with the shade having several hundred pieces in the making process such as this. The glass vibrant and alive as the pictures show and all the leading intact. Great glass here folks with some nice dirt in the striations of the glass. Very nice patina on the leading throughout as well. As far as i know, only handel shades fit handel shade rests and thats been the standard for me for 20+ years. So could this be a handel shade, i say yes. Is it signed no. Either way an extremely nice shade handel or not on a very nice signed handel base. Base also coming with the very desirable tepee shade rest which adds more character and depth to the overall appearance. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. What a cool design and great look. Its a midsized lamp and as such more multi purpose. The base measures 21.5 inches tall and has no damage or issues. Its got its original patina throughout and its in very nice condition. The base without damage of any kind and in fine working order. It’s been recently rewired with braided period style and correct cloth cord, and is signed on the bottom and at the top with a pat’d date. The shade measures 18 inches wide. The shade in very nice overall condition and has no glass breaks in the upper light green panels or in the red border panels and also no cracks or breaks. The filligree all in place and also without losses and what cool filligree it is. So very very cool. The shade not out of round at all and i see no breaks in the metalware. All in all a very nice and pretty hard to find Bradley and hubbard lamp. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a great doubly signed Bradley & Hubbard leaded glass floor lamp. It is a really wonderful looking lamp with blown out fruit and birds on the shade and a basket form lamp base that goes perfectly with the shade. The shade is not signed, but is really well made and is of very high quality. I see a few small cracks here and there (I count 5 total), but nothing serious. The shade has the nice old rattle of old glass and is in very nice condition. I particularly like how they did the shading in the background glass which goes from caramel in the top to white in the apron. In addition the blown out fruit pieces give it a nice three dimensional look. The base is just as nice….. And is strong and sturdy. It appears to be made out of cast iron and with its 3 branching feet is quite stable enough for the large shade. The design looks like a basket of flowers and matches the shade perfectly. The cluster with the characteristic Bradley & Hubbard triangle and the bottom of one of the feet with a prominent BH stamp (both shown). The shade is 24″ in diameter and the lamp stands just over 60″ tall. Just a super looking overall floor lamp in outstanding condition! This is simply because the shade is so large and I do not have boxes that can accommodate the base. If you are the lucky winner you are of course welcome to come here to pick this lamp yourself, but if you live far from here I will gladly take it to our local UPS Store and give them your contact information. And you can pay them directly for this service. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. The item “NICE Antique Bradley & Hubbard B&H Leaded Slag Art Glass Handel Era Floor Lamp” is in sale since Sunday, January 22, 2017.
