Bradley and hubbard always had great designs and heres a perfect example. Its a user friendly mid sized lamp measuring in at 21 inches tall with the shade being 16 inches wide. Both base and shade in original patina and the base needing no excuses as there is no metalware damage to speak of. Its recently rewired and in fine working order. Base also appears to have its original socket as well. The shade with very nice green and white border slag glass (all glass most likely murano) and great yellow upper panel glass to compliment it further. No breaks in any the the original glass. The shade very heavy and sturdy as is the way for b and h shades. No filligree loss to speak of and the lamp displays very very nicely and will certainly be around for another century or two. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. To sell them and not let my inventory sit around for years on end. Thanks for checking this great lamp out and please check out my other great lighting options as well. Recently I have been putting different lighting on with reserves and no reserves. Please Check out my other items! Some great Bradley Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. To all potential buyers. Please feel free to. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc. So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function. When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it. This is just a simply exceptional lamp and i think you can see why. The glass in the shade is the best of the best. This thing is on fire. 11 watt bulbs and look at that coloration. And Its in very good overall condition as well. The base with a very nice three socket cluster all in fine working order, original p and s sockets in the cluster and this is bradley and hubbards most desired bases and i believe to be referred to as a bean pot base. It has the bradley and hubbard telescoping feature (that no other makers used) where the owner can raise or lower the shade to its desired height simply by turning a knob. This is a full sized lamp with the base as pictured 24 inches tall and the shade is 18.5 inches wide. The base weighs a ton and is super well made as most of b and h’s stuff always was. It has been recently rewired with period correct cloth cord and with no metalware damage at all. The shade with very nice glass, please see photos. The leading tight and right throughout and without any missing glass. I see a stress crack here or there as would be expected for a lamp this age and they do not detract from the overall appearance and are very tight. This shade will be around for another 100 years just the way it is and i mention the age stress purely for accuracy purposes. Total i see is around 5-6 which is quite good for a shade that has around 400 pieces in it. This is as arts and crafts as it gets folks. Thanks for looking and please check out my other cool lamps I have up for sale now as well. Thanks for checking this great lamp out and please check out my other great lighting options as well. The base signed handel as well as the shade (please see photos) and this is a supersized table lamp, measuring in at 31 inches tall with the shade being 18 inches wide and 16 inches deep. The base with its heavily embossed tree trunk form design for the base and the great leading and design in the shade. The base without damage of any sort and super well made in order to support such a heavy and well made shade. The base with 4 socket cluster and very nice patina on the base which matches the patina on the shade of course. No metalware damage to be found and in fine working order. The base recently rewired because the previous old cloth cord was too damaged to keep on it. The glass in the shade fantastic and way better than the pictures allow. The shade also in fine original condition. I see no signs of repair or replaced glass and all glass present and accounted for. I see no loose pieces of glass and the shade very sturdy in all respects. Sometimes these types of shades have weakspots due to their design and structure but this one certainly does not. The leading throughout very heavy and super well done. The glass usage and coloration thereof is fantasic. The way they put in the mottled glass for the darker color purple and then offset it with natural glass for the lighter in an alternating pattern is very cool to me. The darker purple mottled glass then stand out alot more in contrast to the lighter thats on both sides of it. Pretty artistic and smart indeed. I will deliver to that store free of charge and give you their contact information to make your own arrangements. So there you have it folks. I have for sale this very nicely designed geometric and properly signed handel leaded shade. This is a nice leaded lamp that doesnt come up very often and its with great color as you can see. The shade with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The leading in a very nice choclate brown patina throughout and tight and right in all locations. The shade properly signed with its handel tag leaded in, please see photo. The shade with heat cracks throughout in the upper pieces but none in the lower multi design areas otherwise known as the border. I used the appropriate handel base to show how the shade would look on a base. I listed them separately in case somebody had an extra base and they wanted a handel shade for it. I only used 7.5 watt bulbs to give you some idea how good the glass lights up. Horseheads ny to Detroit mi , Detroit mi to Chicago il , Chicago il to Indianapolis In to Cincinnati oh , Cincinnati oh to Pittsburgh pa , Pittsburgh to Washington dc , Washington dc to manhattan ny , manhattan ny to boston ma, boston ma to Albany ny, Albany ny to buffalo ny.
