Pair of Vintage Mid-Century White Slag Glass Tulip Pendant Hanging Lights/Lamps w/Large 5 Globe Bulbs! Vintage’50′s White Slag Glass Tulip Pendant Hanging Lamps. These hanging fixtures are Awesome! Each one has 8 slag glass panels and brass trim. They hang down about 6 from the included canopy for hard installation. These 2 fixtures can also be re-wired and used with a longer chain and cord for swag (plug in) installation. The fixtures are in excellent condition. The only issue I could find was one of the beaded trim has a couple of inches missing between two slag panels (see last photo). This is not very noticeable. The fixtures measure 11″ in diameter and are about 10″ long. Each one weighs in at about 5 lbs. I’ve tested them and they both work great. The Large 5 globe light bulbs are perfect for these fixtures and are included. These types of lamps are very desired and I think you can see why. What a cool design and great look. Its a smaller lamp and as such more multi purpose. The base measures 9 inches tall and has no damage or issues. Its got its original patina throughout and its in very nice condition. The base without damage of any kind and in fine working order. It’s been recently rewired and has an inline switch as well. The shade measures 7 inches wide and its 5 inches tall. The shade in very nice overall condition and has no glass breaks or cracks and the filligree all in place and also without losses. The shade not out of round at all and i see no breaks in the metalware. All glass holding tabs accounted for and the original murano glass stickers present as well. The shade very sturdy and well constructed, however a few paint touch ups appear to be present here or there. All in all a very nice and fairly rare Bradley and hubbard lamp. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. To sell them and not let my inventory sit around for years on end. Thanks for checking this great lamp out and please check out my other great lighting options as well. Recently I have been putting different lighting on with reserves and no reserves. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc. So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function. When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it. This has a great look and it lights up better than I can photograph. Its in very good overall condition as well. The base measures 20 inches tall and the shade is 18 inches wide, so its a full sized lamp. The base in original polished brass patina and with no breaks or metalware damage. The shade with great glass and leading throughout and without any looseness in the glass segments nor any missing glass. A tight age crack here or there but only 2-3 at the most. All the leading tight and right. Overall very good condition for a lamp about 100 years old as well as a great arts and crafts design around the border. Thanks for looking and please check out my other cool lamps I have up for sale now as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00.
