Antique 8 Panel Slag Glass Lamp with Glass & Polychrome Metal Lamp Base 2 Bulbs
Early 1920s Antique 8 Panel Slag Glass Lamp with Glass & Polychrome Metal Lamp Base. This stunning lamp is in excellent condition with no broken glass in the shade and only minor wear in the body’s polychrome paint. The shade is 18-1/2 in diameter with a gold metal overlay frame. The lamp base is 20-3/4 tall with a pretty Art Nouveau design. The green and amber polychrome paint compliments the light, especially when it is lit. The body is comprised of metal, a white glass ball and fluted slag glass. The two pull chain sockets appear to be original and are painted white. Ayment is due within 3 days. ANTIQUE SLAG GLASS LAMP with LIGHT UP BASE, 3 bulbs, circa 1910, art nouveau style
Gorgeous slag lamp, approx age 1910 in the art nouveau style. Both the shade and the base light up as seen in the images. There are two bulbs in the shade and one in the base so it could be used as a night light if just the base is lit. There are two pull cords for the shade and one bottom twist on/off switch at the base. This lamp has been professionally re-wired by the best lamp store in Grand Rapids (which was about 75.00) and has a new cord and plug (looks old fashioned on purpose). It is in perfect condition except that a small piece of the shade glass is cracked (see last two images). However, this piece is in a corner on the large shade and is hidden by the filigree work. It looks like it was glued in (looking at the glue on the piece). It is in the lamp, held in by the filigree but could be reglued or simply replaced. The lamp is in need of cleaning (glue and dirt) and I have cleaned one section with a watered Q tip and it cleans up beautifully. It is simply full of dirt from the past 90 years. This is a rare and gorgeous lamp. I don’t know what it will be until I actually know where it is going and of course, there will be two boxes; one for the base and one for the shade. I would love to have it picked up but that may not be possible. Ships only to the 48 states. Pair of Vintage Mid-Century White Slag Glass Tulip Pendant Hanging Lights/Lamps w/Large 5 Globe Bulbs! Vintage’50′s White Slag Glass Tulip Pendant Hanging Lamps. These hanging fixtures are Awesome! Each one has 8 slag glass panels and brass trim. They hang down about 6 from the included canopy for hard installation. These 2 fixtures can also be re-wired and used with a longer chain and cord for swag (plug in) installation. The fixtures are in excellent condition. The only issue I could find was one of the beaded trim has a couple of inches missing between two slag panels (see last photo). This is not very noticeable. The fixtures measure 11″ in diameter and are about 10″ long. Each one weighs in at about 5 lbs. I’ve tested them and they both work great. The Large 5 globe light bulbs are perfect for these fixtures and are included.
