Handel 3 socket Lamp with very early Signed Quoizel Slag glass shade
Handel unsigned but shown in all Handel Lamp books, probably had felt on the bottom at one time. Lamp stands Approx 25″ tall with a 7 1/2″ base. 3 socket lamp with Hubbell sockets and Acorn pull chains. The shade is a very early signed Quoizel with hundreds of pieces of leaded glass, the top row alone has 50 pieces. Shade is approx 18 1/2″ wide and 9″ tall with no cracks or breaks in beautiful condition. Vintage Antique Pittsburgh Pink Slag Glass Table Lamp with PBL&G Company on the bottom. It is a beautiful Art Nouveau design and about 16″ tall and shade is about 7″ X 7 and just stunning. It is in great cosmetic condition with wear from use and age, there is a clean crack in the glass, but there are no missing pieces so it could be repaired (see closeups). Antique Signed Rainaud 6 Panel Caramel Slag Glass Lamp. Gold/Bronze in Color and as you can see its wonderful colors from the photo’s. No Chips or Cracks of any Kind in the Glass. All the Slag Glass Clips are present and tight. In the metal filigree work 1 very small hairline crack that I could not even get my camera to focus in on. It is about 1/8 of an inch long. Besides that it looks to be in Perfect Condition. The Cord, Sockets and Plug-in are all in Excellent Condition. It is Just a Beautiful early 1900′s Lamp. It Measures 21″ inches Tall and 16″ inches Wide. It was in the possession of my older sister until her death last year and it was given to me. BRADLEY & HUBBARD Signed 18D Slag Glass Bronze Table Lamp 6 Panel Art Nouveau
This is a fantastic antique BRADLEY & HUBBARD Bronze Base Lamp with Six-Panel Caramel Slag Glass Lampshade. Lamp signed at top of base as shown in photos. Undulating Art-Nouveau ribbons of Irises surround a six-panel slag glass shade. Bronze base emerges like a strong stem to a most beautiful flower. Beautifully designed and extremely substantial, weighing nearly 20 lbs. Lamp measures approximately 23 1/2H including shade. Shade diameter is approximately 18D. Slag glass shows no chips. Some age related wear (surface scratches) are visible to the surface of some glass panels, and we were able to see what appears to be one tiny hairline on one panel that was not possible to capture in photos. This lamp was discovered in very dirty condition, and while it was detailed for photos, some additional detailing may be needed for the most discerning customer. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Table Lamp 4-Panel Slag Glass Shade Signed VGC. This lamp is 100% all original and the light sockets and pull chains work. There is one crack in the lamp shade frame that can easily be repaired (See Photos). This is a rare style lamp as I have scoured the internet and cannot find one even similar. The base is cast iron and very heavy weighing in at 19 pounds! From internet research it seems the cast Bradley & Hubbard mark dates it between 1875 and 1940. I cannot find out the exact year it was made. (If you see this listing and have more information please message me). Lamp with Shade is 23 inches tall. Shade is 17 inches wide and 9 inches tall. Base is 14 inches tall and 7 inches wide. About Bradley & Hubbard. Bradley & Hubbard is a name found on many metal objects. Walter Hubbard and his brother-in-law, Nathaniel Lyman Bradley, started making cast iron clocks, tables, frames, andirons, lamps, chandeliers, sconces, and sewing birds in 1854 in Meriden, Connecticut. Before it found large success with kerosene-burning lamps with glass shades in the 1870s, Bradley & Hubbard mainly produced clocks, along with call bells and sewing machines. The company became Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company in 1875. Charles Parker Company bought the firm in 1940. The company loosely began in 1852 in Meriden, Connecticut when Nathaniel and William Bradley, Orson and Chitten Hatch, and Walter Hubbard, formed Bradley, Hatch & Company. This incarnation of the company only manufactured clocks. Clocks remained the firm’s primary product into the 1860′s. In addition to their successful line of clocks, Bradley & Hubbard also produced a wide range of household items including match safes, call bells, andirons, urns, bookends, frames, desk accessories and vases. 1875 the company reorganized to form the Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Company.
