Arts&Crafts, Nouveau Double Signed Handel Stained Leaded Slag Glass Bronze Lamp
The top of the shade is decorated in a caramel slag seldom seen honeycomb pattern. Shade signed with applied “Handel” tag / please look at the last picture/. The shade rests on a Handel stick base with inverted saucer foot and three “Harvey Hubbel ” socket cluster. The base is finished in a rich brown with subtle “frog skin” green highlights and is topped with a fleur de lis heat cap. Signed on the underside of foot “Handel”. The shade is 18″ in diameter, base is 22-3/4″ tall. Shade is very good to excellent with a few tight / only 4 / hairlines. Base is very good to excellent with some very minor wear to finish. Gorgeous Edward Miller (Meriden Connecticut) Slag Glass Lamp Signed Dated c. Six curved caramel slag glass panels secured in a floral metal frame. The frame, column, base and fixtures have traditional. Applied’old gold’ finish and detailed metal over colored glass. No cracks or damage to any of the 6 large original slag glass panels. They are hand made and cut with no 2 being exactly the same. 21″ tall (Base 8″ wide). Shade 16″ wide x 8″. This heavy shade simply rests on top of the lamp. How it was made and is by design. One of the pull-chain switch sockets was not functioning; stuck and. We did have to remove and examine; the internal. Ratcheting switch device was broken. A modern pull-chain switch. Socket was installed; the bright chain was shortened and the original. Dark chain was installed. As these lamps are just now turning 100. Years, their value will only go up and original parts will become scarce. We will included the original damaged ceramic-based pull chain. Fine Antique Signed MILLER Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp c. 1910-1915 antique
Fine Art Nouveau slag glass signed lamp made by Miller. It is signed on the underside of the base MILLER. The shade is 8 ¼ square and the overall height is 18 ¼ to the top of the finial. There are (4) caramel and cream slag glass on the top with (4) red and orange slag glass on the sides. All glass panels include art nouveau filigree work and are in excellent condition. One small piece of filigree is missing a ½ piece at the top of the lamp and is not noticeable. Please review the photos. The glass is without chips, cracks or breaks. This is a single socket lamp with a pull chain. The lamp has been rewired for immediate use. 18 ¼ high by x 8 ¼ x 8 ¼ square. Victorian/Arts & Crafts Lamp Base signed 3 socket Miller Co w/Slag Glass Shade. Fine example of Victorian, heavily designed, signed Miller base lamp. The lamp appears to be made out of brass, a magnet will not adhere and stands 27 1/2 tall to finial. Has a large 8 base. The Miller lamp base is on the rare side where they only produced about 6% with 3 sockets, which makes it a rarity in itself. The slag glass shade has extensive metal filigree with caramel glass, no breaks, no cracks or dents in any of the glass or metalwork that I can see. The lamp appears to be recently rewired, has Bryant socket and is in beautiful condition for its age. I will be listing some top end lamps that I have available. The lamp has caramel slag glass panels, that are bent outward near the bottom perimeter, which features an original painted filigree in green and red. The lamp base is signed “Rainaud”, and the lamp shade (and all other parts) are original to the lamp. It has been professionally rewired with a cloth cord, and is ready for immediate use. The piece is 17.5″ in diameter and 8″ tall, the base is 23 tall from base to finial. Overall, the lamp is in excellent condition. Up for sale is this antique Bradley & Hubbard arts and crafts / art nouveau slag glass lamp base featuring a wonderful lily pad design. The lamp is signed on the base BRADLEY & HUBBARD 471. The lamp has been painted over in a green paint. The lamp base measures 13 1/2″ inches tall with the base measuring 8 1/4″ inches in diameter and 12 inches between the arms.
