Rare Antique 21 X 31 Tall Unique Lamp Co. Leaded Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp
Please read the condition report on this lamp thoroughly as there are condition issues. This is an amazing lamp by the Unique Art Glass and Metal Co. It is enormous measuring 21” across the dome and 31” high without the cap. It is undoubtedly By the Unique lamp Co. And the tag ring is still attached inside on the shade. The glass is just gorgeous when lit with a wonderful smoky opalescence that makes the bottom band glow and it is stunning when lit at night. I have looked through my books and cannot find this particular pattern so it may be a rare one. Colors are amazing and the lamp is as beautiful lit as it is unlit. Leaded lamps out of NYC are getting very rare and hard to find especially this size. I believe this was the largest size they made in a table lamp. If you collect leaded lighting this one is a must have do not let it get away. This item ships by fed ex for 100.00 in the lower 48 states. The item “RARE ANTIQUE 21 X 31 TALL UNIQUE LAMP CO. Antique Very Rare Beautiful & Ornate Figural Slag Glass Lamp Bronze
BEAUTIFUL RARE BRONZE FIGURAL SLAG LAMP. Absolutely stunning and very special, rare bronze metal figural slag lamp. Age unknown, but most probably from the 1920s, if not earlier. I havent seen one like this before. There are three maiden faces on the lamp itself. There are more maiden images encircling the shade along with faces that appear to be perhaps Medusa or some royal figure. The lamp is very intricate and beautifully detailed with images of griffins, floral vases, grapes, and lattice work. This magnificent lamp measures about 26 1/2 tall including the finial. The shade measures approximately 19 in diameter. The lamp is very heavy and substantial. The glass panels are done in a very tasteful trio of colors including vanilla, caramel, and chocolate and look to be in superb condition with no cracking. The lamp is in astonishingly good condition, especially for its antiquity, with normal patina and finish wear (see photos) commensurate with age. Its only temporary flaw is that one of the sockets is not currently working (although this should be a quick and inexpensive fix at a lamp repair shop). The shade and lamp appear to be a match, but I could not find a makers mark on the shade itself to confirm this. The lighting glow is beautiful &the superb construction of the wood & swirled slag glass warms any room w the lighting. This Lamp is an understated Masterpiece w an Elegance unrivaled by very few lamps. Lamp takes 1 regular lightbulb. Beautiful overall but here are the problems. – examining closely appears a thin glass slag panel may have been replaced but only can decide this when looking very closely at the lamp examining it down to tiniest detail still not really certain. – there is an area near one corner edge side of the wooden edge base of the lamp that has some damage to wood but you can see in the picture below. Also see a little edge damage thru a mag glass where the screw screws in, also the lamp has an older 2 prong plug & would need to be updated. Overall a wonderful lamp. I rate it 10 in beauty &, aesthetics. Just below perfect in condition. But most of the issues are thru a magnifier lense on the camera not too noticeable to the naked eye. In the pictures you can view where the base is screwed to the top of the lamp shade part. Right now they are lightly screwed in So where you see a little air that is only because I didn’t screw them back on tightly for the picture. This is a rare Gorgeous Handsome LAMP!!!! Rare Antique Slag Glass Panel Art Nouveau Lamp with Lighted Base Handel B&H Era
Just out of a local house is this rare slag glass panel lamp with a lighted base. It has a filigree or overlay shade with 6 serpentine formed slag glass panels. The base has 4 curved slag glass panels and has an overlay with a Victorian cameo decoration. The lamp measures about 21 3/4 inches tall. The shade measures about 18 inches across and about 6 3/4 inches deep. The shade has some missing paint, is slightly twisted so it does not sit exactly flat, and has one broken or cracked panel. When viewed from the outside it seems to have cracked along the “grain” of the glass. The base measures about 7 inches wide across the base. It is also has some paint loss to its finish and it looks to have a missing “door” on the base. This “door” area does not show when the lamp is set up. The wiring was updated some time ago and the electrics work well with the base and shade having separate switches. See photos as they are part of the description. Would make a nice addition to any collection and is guaranteed as described. If you wish an exact quote please send your zip code for an estimate to your location. Rare Handel 4 socket with Poulsen (P & H) Slag Glass Lamp, Both Signed
Rare Handel 4 socket with Poulsen (P & H) Slag Glass Lamp, both signed. I have dealt with many Handel Lamps over the years and I’ve had a lot of 2 socket and 3 socket pieces in my collection. I have not seen a 4 socket in many a year. To say that they are hard to get is extremely scarce. One chain is slightly longer than the other three? The lamp is rewired and all 4 sockets light up perfect. The lamp stands 23″ tall and with a 7 1/2″ base. Topped off on this base is a magnificent 19, 16 panel signed Loius Poulsen shade. Poulsen born in 1874 was one of the leading designers of shades for his time. A function and design of his products are tailored to reflect and support the rhythm of natural light. Every detail of his design has a purpose, every design starts and ends with light. He was truly one of the most passionate craftsman of the period. I’ve described this as best I can due to the early age there may be minor signs of wear in the many years it has been through. MAGNIFICENT to behold when lit. Renew the Past Policies. If you are not satisfied for ANY reason please contact me before leaving feedback. If I have missed anything let me know and we will resolve it. You are getting them as I bought them. Please look at all of the pictures closely and ask any questions you may have. Most pieces are picked at estate sales, garage sales, etc. The majority of things I sell are vintage, so a little minor wear can be expected from time to time. I will disclose everything to the best of my knowledge! If you ave any questions about any of my collections do not hesitate to call. Up for consideration is a very nice Whaley leaded glass shade. The shade has fantastic highend glass and wonderful brown patina. The shade is large 20 Dia. And is 7 1/2 tall. The top opening is 2 5/8. The shade is in great shape for a 100 year old shade with 8 to 10 tight heat cracks and one chip on the bottom edge and has no glass lose on the inside of the shade. That is shown on the last picture. I took many pictures which are part of the description. Thank you for looking.
