RARE Antique Gorham Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a rare example of a Gorham pine cone boarder leaded lamp. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that both shade and base are in very nice original condition with the shade having a handful of small cracks here and there. Note that the pine cones are actually made out of tiny individual pieces of glass…. This is not an overlay! Each of these little pine cone pieces had its own foil and leading. This must have been a whole lot of work to do! The very heavy and solid bronze base has a nice decorated bottom and has a great deep dark greenish finish. It comes with what appear to be its original Hubbell labeled sockets. Porcelain interiors and acorn ended pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. The shade measures 18″ in diameter and the lamp stands 26 1/2″ tall. I have never seen this. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. SLAG GLASS RETICULATED PUTTI SQUIRREL LAMP SHADE Art Nouveau RARE
This six panel lamp shade has six white and purple slag glass panes held in place by metal tabs and a squirrel motif metal frame. The panes transform into a soft amber glow when light is put behind them. One of the tabs is bent and is not supporting the glass and I have not bent this back so as not to stress or weaken the metal prong. I don’t know what type of metal it is but my guess is lead. This is a very heavy piece. It appears to have once had a decoration in at least one place that has been broken off. Please see close-up photo of this particular section. It is approximately 11″ across at the base and 3 1/2″ across at the top. The metal is fragile and prone to bending. The glass is in pristine shape, no chips/cracks. I do not know the origin of this piece. Guaranteed to be well-packed to arrive in the condition pictured. RARE Wilkinson Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Duffner Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is fairly rare example of Wilkinson’s acorn lamp. The shade is done with a green band of “acorns” on a white background and the rest of the shade is brickwork green. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the shade is in excellent condition with maybe 1 or 2 small cracks and there are no replaced pieces. The shade is 16 1/4″ in diameter and the lamp stands a little under 24″ tall. The heavy cast metal base is stamped 288 and has the characteristic “feet holes” in the bottom (like all Wilkinson’s do). It has its original cap. And Hubbell labeled sockets. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Rare ca. 1910 Bradley & Hubbard Filigree And Slag Glass Table Lamp
This table lamp is a beautiful example of Arts & Crafts design of early 1900′s. The metal filigree design of oak leaf and acorn design overlays the rich colors. Of the slag glass. The acorn and leaf design is also echoed in the base design. And ties the lamp together as matching shade and base. The base is signed. B & H (in their triangle logo, with Aladdin lamp) and numbered 198. The shade has no repairs. Or breaks and the cast iron base and 3 arms that hold the shade are all sturdy and good. The lamp is in working condition, but as with any antiques that have electrical cords. It is a suggestion to have it professionally looked at. Shade the base diam. Rare Bigelow & Kennard Bronze Lamp Base. Leaded, Slag Glass Shade. Handel Lamp Era
Up for consideration is a very rare Bigelow Kennard solid bronze base. First of all these are very hard to find. Not many Kennard bases come around for sell. They are in collectors hands waiting for that great shade to come along. I know of one more thats not complete same base for more then Im asking. This base has its orig. Gold patina and is 100 plus years old. Cant see makers mark on socket due to the gold finish. One socket has a minor crack as shown. 28 tall and foot is 7 Square and is very heavy wonderful base. Art Nouveau Bronze & Green Slag Glass Sliding Bookends Rack Apollo/Tiffany RARE
Beautiful Art Nouveau period sliding book-ends. (or book rack) The glass panels on this example is among the best I’ve seen. From research, APOLLO (est 1874) didn’t mark goods “Apollo” until 1909, dating these to pre 1909. (A direct competitor of Tiffany’s). Unless the makers mark is under the enclosed glass panels. Rare STICKLEY Era ARTS & CRAFTS TABLE LAMP MISSION OAK Craftsman Wood Slag Glass
This is finely handcrafted table lamp, a great period piece handmade “Mission Arts and Craft” from oak wood and opaque pressed green slag with streaks of white glass lamp. Looks great when lit up and for the age of lamp in excellent condition. I estimate it to be from around 1906 – 1923. The glass is slag with green with hues of white. There are 2 small cracks in the green slag glass which is in one of the panels of the base. (See picture) The solid oak wood is very thick and the lamp has a solid base. The wood was perfectly stained to bring out the beautiful oak and shows a very nice oily build up on the wood that also, shows the age of this lamp. There is a chip it the wood at the top of the shape. (See picture) It is a large lamp heavy and well built lamp. No other major scratches, dings, or dents. The switch appears to be a old rocker type switch and the lamp works. (See picture) The wood shade is approx. 18″ across at it’s widest it stands 21″ tall and the base is approx. Pick – Up only. Large 16 Tiffany Style Stained Glass Lamp shade Mosaic Slag RARE Jeweled
This is a beautiful lamp shade there are several areas that are broken. Please refer to last picture for details. You can’t tell that these areas are broken due to the marbling look the glass has. Lamp shade is beautiful. Colors are Green, purple, Ivory, and white. I tried to take the pictures outside so the light would reflect it’s beauty. All measurments are in the pictures.
