RARE NWAS BRONZE Slag Glass Lighthouse Lamp Arts Crafts Art Nouveau Tiffany ERA
Item: Slag Glass Ornate Bronze Lamp. Age: 1910 – 30′s. Made: USA / Portland, Oregon. Description: Slag Glass lamp from as early as 1910- through 1930 by NWAS Co. And could have been made right here is Chicago. The lamp is super heavy so it appears to be bronze. The slag glass is blue & carmel and many panels that are curved. There is one panel missing since it is the peep hole to see through the shade to turn the switch on & off. Lighthouse shape with two lights on top and one in the base. Wiring / electrical is not original. Base has FIVE places were metal pieces are missing… Shade has perfect metal work and one missing small carmel glass panel. I do not see any glass panels that are broken. Measures 26″ Tall with base at 9″. The shade is 20 1/2″ wide and also 9″ tall. The base weighs about 9lbs and the shade weighs about a whopping 20lbs… So about 30lbs total weight. Does need a cleaning as I did not clean it. Antique Large Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lighthouse Lamp Miller Salem Hubbard Style
Antique Large Art Nouveau Slag Caramel Blue Glass Lighthouse Lamp (Miller Salem Brothers Hubbard Style). I do not see a stamp or marking. 26″ tall base, 19″ wide x 8 tall shade, 8 panel. Please view photos for best representation of condition. Item shows light wear , mainly clean. I do not see any cracks or chips in the glass. The shade glass is intact, but there are metal parts that need to be repaired. Will not currently sit on base. 2 metal arm supports and the center ring need to be put back together. This one is highly ornate! The double bent, beautifully shaped skirt is end of day glass and the bumped out top panels are swirl amber, caramel, honey and some light blue colored. This is the most ornate shade I`ve seen in this style of Empire lamps. It weighs a ton as does the base! , and has so many little fabulous details within the designs. I especially love the little angels in the skirt. This lamp has everything! The shade has 2 pull chain sockets, the base has a turn button switch and has been re-wired with cloth covered cord. This is an over-the-top piece of art! All pictures are part of description, all slag glass panels are original. The lamp stands 27″ tall with the finial, the shade is 20″ across and 8″ tall, and the base is about 9″ across. Mine is a bit less for sale, HURRY!!
