The item came from clean home where it was cared for and displayed for the enjoyment of others. Unseen before it is now offered for a quick sale. This Grande Empire Lamp Co. This one is highly ornate! The double bent, beautifully shaped skirt is end of day glass and the bumped out top panels are swirl amber, caramel, honey and some light blue colored. This is the most ornate shade I`ve seen in this style of Empire lamps. It weighs a ton as does the base! , and has so many little fabulous details within the designs. I especially love the little angels in the skirt. This lamp has everything! The shade has 2 pull chain sockets, the base has a turn button switch and has been re-wired with cloth covered cord. This is an over-the-top piece of art! All pictures are part of description, all slag glass panels are original. The lamp stands 27″ tall with the finial, the shade is 20″ across and 8″ tall, and the base is about 9″ across. Mine is a bit less for sale, HURRY!!
