Nice Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Lamp by Wilkinson Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really great looking floral lamp by Wilkinson. The irregular pattern in the floral border is particularly attractive and the knotted top base is in my opinion one of their best designs. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, and from them you can see the outstanding look of this multicolored floral work of art. This is a full sized and very impressive leaded floral lamp with a 18″ diameter shade that stands 24″ tall. Its in excellent, all original condition and appears to have been very well cared for in its over 120 year life! I see maybe 1 or 2 small cracks here and there throughout the shade (which is itself pretty remarkable), and no repairs or replaced pieces. The base is super heavy and has the wonderful knotted top design I mentioned earlier. It has all of its original hardware and has recently been rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Wilkinson made some really great lamps and this is a very fine and highly colorful example of a great one. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
Antique Arts & Crafts Pink Slag Glass Brass Table Lamp
An Arts & Crafts Pink Slag Glass Brass Lamp, United States, c. This Lamp makes for the perfect contrast piece while staged in an array of interior styles. The shade includes 4 pink slag glass panels, each are recessed into the shade – It looks exceptional while illuminated. The brass stem of the lamp is nicely styled with a button motif. The underside of the Lamp is unsigned or marked. Condition: This Lamp was rewired with a modernized plug for longevity, it’s fully tested and works as it should. Repairs are shown to the frame of the shade, there aren’t any cracks or repairs in the glass although some of the panels show movement (but do not fall out). The shade was lacquered in gold over the brass plating, the stem and base are solid brass. Dimensions: 14″ wide x 20″ tall x 14 deep. We view lamps as more than lighting, we view them as art. As more than a way to brighten a room, a way to brighten ones day. It features socket base switch. I believe the shade is Handel. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. Lamp was originally a floor lamp. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in the slag glass shade. It measures approximately 16 inches front of shade to back of base on back side as shown in gallery photo, 5.5 inches in diameter for shade, 9.5 inches in diameter at base and 25 inches tall. ART DECO STREAMLINE CHROME HOUZE AGATE URANIUM MARBLE SLAG GLASS TABLE LAMP 30′s
ART DECO STREAMLINE CHROME AKRO AGATE SWIRL URANIUM GLASS TABLE LAMP 1930s. DESIGN: A striking and stylish Art Deco Streamline Chrome and Agate table lamp circa 1930′s. Built heavy duty and comprised of highly polished Chrome steel accented with molded geometric shaped sections of Akro Agate swirl glass (the same material & process used to make antique marbles). The contemporary replacement shade casts an ideal glow upon the translucent glass sections while complimenting the lamps overall design. CONDITION : This brilliant Deco table lamp is in exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Just very light signs of tarnish wear to the brilliant polished chrome with no abuse or repair evident, all glass sections are sparkling and blemish free. The original complete double pull chain socket lighting assembly has been inspected and appears safe and functional, t he power cord has likely been replaced at some time with insulated appliance grade wiring which appears to be completely safe & functional. DIMENSIONS: The assembly overall measures 25.5″ tall and 6″ wide at the base, shade is 9″ tall X 13″ in diameter. The bulbs are NOT included.
Antique TIFFANY Style LAMP, Bronze Tone Mosaic Glass TURTLEBACK, WORKS GREAT
Here is a Gorgeous & Super Cool Antique Tiffany Style Lamp or Reproduction. Bronze Tone with Mosaic Slag Glass Tiles & Turtleback Carnival Glass Repops. Turn of the Century Victorian to Art Nouveau Style. Typical Early Era Tiffany Design Features. I’m not sure who made it or when, So I’m not sure of the actual age. It’s made of some kind of heavy metal with likely a cast iron like composition (heavy) & antique bronze overlay. Inlaid slag glass and/or resin- hard to tell with some pieces. Electric cord with mid-cord disc switch for easy on off access. 3 Independent Bulbs with Pull-Switches for each 1 to control & set the desired amount of light- All Working Great! Without taking it apart I’m not sure if there are suppose to be any lights on the inside of the base anywhere, but it’s possible that the turleback globe area lights up. & due to this lamps overall condition, it’s likely that if it does, it just needs a bulb. (In my opinion, it does not have an interior bulb &####128524;) I believe the bottom area to be solid & opaque. I found 1 other listing for this lamp but the wiring, cord, & fixtures were broken & there was no mention of internal lights. I did find a Very Similar Lamp (Example Pic) that pretty much looks exactly like this 1; & appears to have a center bulb. So who knows on this 1 &####129300… OVERALL it’s in REALLY GOOD CONDITION! There is some normal surface wear with some scratches & paint chips on the metal, but I didn’t see or feel any damage. No chips, dings, dents, or broken fixtures or wires. This is a Heavy Lamp! It is about 2 Feet Tall (23-24″ inches), & about 8″ inches wide at the base & “globe” area. No lamp shade or lamp shade supports. PLEASE? Refer to the PHOTOS for your BEST DESCRIPTION! &####128640; More pics can always be provided if necessary! I have acquired a fair amount of knowledge in a WIDE RANGE of areas, but by no means do I consider myself an expert or incapable of mistakes and/or mis-identification, labeling, etc. I just list things to the best of my knowledge. It has a lovely warm glow that will give your home a soft, welcoming atmosphere. The lamp is in excellent original condition. It has one minor crack shown in the last picture and a couple of hairlines that are barely noticeable. The lamp has been rewired at some point and works well. Measurements: Glass is 18″ wide by 6″ tall, and the lamp is 23″ tall with an 8″ wide base.
