Vintage Art Deco Agate Glass Uranium Slag Glass & Cast Iron Reactive Floor Lamp. Lamp is in great shape and so is glass. Glass is great no chips or cracks or damage that can be seen with trim pieces. A lot of times underneath the trim pieces you may have some rough edges which is pretty common on almost every single lamp I’ve never actually seen one that doesn’t have that. But the parts that you can see are as close to meant in my opinion that you will ever get. This is the accumulation of several lamps that have been sacrificed to make one beautiful gem of a peiece. Overall in excellent shape. I do believe lamp had been refurbished with new paint some years ago. Will need updated wiring. Vtg Art Deco Uranium Slag Glass & Gold Cast Iron 4-Light 30s Floor Lamp WORKS
Up for your consideration is a gorgeous 1930s Art Deco Uranium slag glass & cast iron floor lamp! It has a total of four lights, all work and there are multiple settings so you can choose how many you’d like on. The center light was designed for a much larger bulb than what’s available today so we’ve fitted it with a brand new porcelain converter and it works with standard bulbs beautifully now. It dose NOT include the floral lamp shade or light bulbs. Any glass shade that style should fit though. The cast iron components and two UV-reactive slag glass pieces are in great condition. I’m not sure if the wiring is original, but it is older and has imperfections in the cord. As you can see in the pictures the cardboard encasing on the three side lights has come undone. However all-in-all, my opinion is that it is in impressive condition for a nearly 100-year old lamp and it will be the highlight of any room! We view lamps as more than lighting, we view them as art. As more than a way to brighten a room, a way to brighten ones day. Up for consideration is this Floor Lamp with Dolphins &Huge Octagon Bent Curved Slag Glass Shade Lamp. We found the floor lamp base in Arizona. The shade is no doubt early 20th century and was hung in dinning room of old Hollywood home not a mile from the Hollywood Bowl. The new owners from Italy did not understand or appreciate the old treasure. We will consider delivering the lamp to areas of far western US. Please message to discuss possibility. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. This is another lamp we have married. Both base and shade frame have areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. There a couple of clips missing but the glass securely in place. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description.
