A fine 16-panel slag glass table lamp with embellished metal shade with foliate and ribbon decoration, unsigned, possibly from the Empire Lamp Company, dating to the early 20th century. Very good overall working condition, rewired at some point, with one panel crack visible, as well as some splitting near the base of the metal stem. Antique Miller Co. Bent Slag Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Handel Empire styles
This is a very nice heavy Miller Lamp Co. Bent Slag Glass Table Lamp in great condition. The lamp stands 21 1/2 inches tall on it’s richly flower sculpted 8 inch base. The center column is a beautifully patinated brass. The Bent Slag Glass shade is 8 1/2 inches tall and 15 to 17 inches wide, measuring flats or corners. The rich dark finish is complete and has a lot of the original coloring of the flowers in the shade. The variegated tan bent slag glass is complete with no cracks or chips. Antique Bent Green Slag Glass Lamp Chicago Empire Co. Miller Bradley & Hubbard
This is a wonderful heavy Bronze and Green Bent Slag Glass lamp by Chicago Empire Co. The lamp stands 21 1/2 inches tall on its neatly sculpted 7 1/2 inch base. The lamp weighs over 15 pounds. The Beautiful Green Bent Slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or chips and is called “Morning Glory on Trellis” and is 17 or 18 1/2 inches in diameter, depending on where measured. It is 7 inches tall. There is one very small part of the casting in the top of the overlay that was missing in the cast. If I did not mention it you would not notice it, but I want to be accurate. The finish on the lamp is all there and the Bronze metal base and ribbed column have a great variegated green bronze finish to it. I find no markings on the lamp however, it is pictured in their old lamp catalogs. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Just a really beautiful lamp for your home or desk. This is a wonderful Rare antique A & R Co lamp, from a Newark, NJ company, manufactured in the early 1900′s. The Base is marked A & R Co. The lamp stands 20 1/4 inches tall on its 7 inch diameter base with a wonderful patinated color finish. The shade is 18 inch in diameter and 7 inches tall. The overlay is complete and with almost all its finish. The lamp has a beautiful patinated green and brown finish with great accent colors. The finish is about 90 – 95%, with some wear to high points. The wonderful pierced overlay is also matching in finish over the bent carmel slag glass. The glass is complete with no chips or cracks. The lamp has been correctly rewired wire and works perfectly. This is just a great beautiful lamp for your home. This Is A Large Antique Early 20th Century Lighthouse Lamp Produced By The Empire Lamp Company, Chicago. The Condition Is 100% Original Except The 11 Ft. Cord Which Has Been Replaced. The Shade Measures 19 Inch Wide By 8 Inch Depth. The Lighted Base Is A Tall 21 Inched By 9 Inches Wide. The Condition Is Very Good With “NO” Damage To Any Metal. There Are Areas Of Wear On Some Of The Gold Wash On The Lamp And Shade As Expected For A Lamp Of This Age. There Are “NO” Cracks In The Glass On The Shade Or The Base. The lamp base is marked with the Bradley & Hubbard Triangle marking up at the sockets. There is also a stamp on the base, however it is indecipherable. The great looking large shade is 19 1/4 in diameter and 6 1/2 inches tall with a very intricate and complete metal overlay. Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp Empire Miller Bradley & Hubbard Styles
This is a great large Bent Slag Glass lamp probably by Empire Lamp Co from Chicago although it is not marked. It is similar to their other shade styles. The lamp stands 22 inches tall to the top of the finial on its beautifully sculpted 7 1/2 base. The base has a great deep patinated finish with green verdigris highlights which is about all complete. The full 8 panel Bent Slag glass shade is 20 1/2 inches in diameter and 7 3/4 inches tall. The well executed overlay is complete with a patinated gold/brass finish covering the molted tan bent slag glass. All the glass is intact with no chips or cracks and all the securing tabs are there. The lamp is unmarked except for “840″ on the underside of the base. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Just a wonderful large lamp for your home or office.
