Antique Egyptian Motif Slag Glass 8 Panel Electric Table Lamp
This panel lamp has 8 panels of smooth amber glass. The diameter of the shade is 17 1/4. The shade is 7 deep. The height is 23. All of the glass is good and all of the tabs are present. There are 2 pull chain sockets. The diameter of the 6 sided base is 7 1/4″- 8″. There is a notch in the bottom of the base. I do not know why but you can hardly see it. Two of the “sunbursts” are missing. You can see it in one of the pictures. The lamp has a rayon cord. I have shown the lamp lit and unlit. It is all ready to go. This lamp and others I have listed came from the collection of an elderly gentleman. All sales are final. I might have the shade professionally boxed. There might be something you just can not live without. I will be listing much more vintage lighting soon. Antique Egyptian Revival Bent Panel Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade Art Nouveau Asis
Here we have an exceptionally fine quality, early 1900′s era ANTIQUE BENT PANEL SLAG GLASS LAMP SHADE ” NO BASE ” we just acquired out of an estate. It has an EGYPTIAN REVIVAL THEME WITH AN ART NOUVEAU FLARE. It is a pretty unusual shade and one we have never seen before. It also appears to be a nicer quality than we usually see. I believe the collectors may recognize the maker. It is fairly large measuring approximately 18 inches across by approximately 7 inches tall and the top diameter is 3 3/8 inches across. With the exception of one missing panel is it actually in wonderful condition with no damage to the frame. The original bronze / copper patina is about as nice as you could hope for. I will package this lamp shade with GREAT CARE! To ensure it arrives at its new home in as seen condition. Antique Egyptian Revival Lamp Vase 1920s Blue Slag Glass Panels Filagree Metal
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES. You are looking at a very rare Egyptian Revival lamp and vase. I have included a picture of the note that came with it. It was placed in the center of their table and could not be plugged in there, so they never plugged it in. It reads a lot more and is so great to have the history. There is one leaf that seems to be bent out more than it should be. I have pictured it on photo #7. I did not want to try and fix it for fear that I might break it. There are some spots where the paint is bubbled or missing. It is about 18 tall. The only part that a magnet sticks to is the leaf pieces. Antique Vtg Art Deco Egyptian Revival Lamp Leaded Slag Glass Shade Marble Base
For your consideration is a stunning Egyptian Revival/Art Deco lamp with a leaded glass shade. I’m not certain of the metal, it looks like brass. It is in great working condition but has the old cloth wiring so may need to be re-wired for safety like all antique electrical. The base is marble covered in felt, very slight wear typical of age.
