Vtg 2 Arm Slag Glass Dual Shade Lamp Bankers / Students Style Desk Lamp Nouveau
This listing is for a vintage 2 Armed student / bankers desk lamp with two striking multicolor Slag Glass Shades. The colors are almost a watermelon scheme, with red green white etc. It has a strong art nouveau influence, especially in the base which has a lily pad motif and long curling vines which go up the lamps base. It is definitely vintage, not sure if it is an antique original though. The glass appears old enough but Im not sure about the base. The weight has been replaced with one from a modern lamp due to rust on the original. A very impressive piece overall, sure to draw the attention of and compliments from your guests. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It is in very good condition. Comes as found, with a new vintage style cord and plug. No major damage or other repairs to be seen. Original Antique Amber Slag Glass Cast Metal Table Lamp Dual Bulb Circa 1900
Base measures approximately 20 in height. Shade measures approximately 13″ in diameter and 8″ deep. This lamp originally belonged to my great grandmother. I have a photo of it that was taken around 1920, so it is at least that old. All glass pieces are original and intact, each is held in place with tiny metal tabs. The only visible marking that I can find is on the light fixture (see photos-Bryant). It is fully functional, and finial is also included. All photos are of actual item. Gorgeous Antique Slag Glass Dual Lamp Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts 63 Panel
Gorgeous Antique Slag Glass Dual Lamp Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts 63 Panel. This piece is just gorgeous. I can’t guarantee that the shade goes with the base, but they do look perfect together. I could be wrong though. The bottom of the base is stamped but it is extremely light and I’ve been trying to make it out for a year and I cannot figure out who made it. This piece overall measures as follows with the finial. This piece is approximately 29 in tall, the bottom of the lamp shade opening is approximately 14 in round in diameter. And the base is approximately 7 in in diameter. The entire base is a brass or bronze but it is antique looking so it’s dark. None of the glass pieces have any cracks in any of them out of all of the 63 panels around. The shade itself is 12 in tall. This lamp could just use a nice good cleaning, but it is all intact. It’s very heavy and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Especially when lit as you can see from the photos. If you have any questions please ask.
