ANTIQUE SIGNED H. E. RAINAUD BENT PANEL SLAG GLASS LAMP c. 1920 ART NOUVEAU WORKS
This listing is for a really nice RAINAUD lamp. Featuring Carmel & White slag glass panels on a Cast Iron Shade Frame & Base. The finish is Green with designs in the casting. The shade holder is brass as well as the top cap and have a nice patina. The finial is a cast iron piece and has a broze wash finish. Rainaud Company made lamps in Meriden, CT. From 1916 to about 1930. It specialized in lamps with metal bases and shades made of pierced metal over colored or slag glass. The lamp is working and the only flaw is a small piece in the shade decorations that has been broken off. I will give you a pic so you see how small the very minor damage is. The lamp has been rewired, but with any electrical item, we recommend you have it checked by a professional before use. CONDITION: Working in Excellent Condition with 1 minor flaw – see pictures. Antique Miller Bent Slag Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh Empire Styles
This is a Beautiful signed Miller lamp from the 1920s. It has its original fine patinated Gold finish from the sculpted base to the top of the finial. There is some wear to the high spots on the beautifully sculpted base column which adds to its look and character. It is in wonderful condition. This lamp stands 23 inches tall to the top of the finial. The sculpted base stands 21 inches tall on it’s 7 1/2 inch diameter base. The Shade is 16 1/2 inch in diameter and the variegated carmel bent slag glass shade is about 61/2 inches tall. All the sculpted overlay is complete with almost all of its original finish and the bent slag glass is all there without any cracks or breaks. The lamp has been correctly rewired and everything works perfectly. The fluted and sculpted vase like column has a great patinated tone and look to it. The bottom of the base is marked “MLCO, 233″. Antique bent panel slag glass table lamp in shades of green and gold. There are two sockets and lamp has a new cloth cord. The base has details of ribbons and bows with swags of leaves. The finish does have some wear as shown in photos. Shade is 18″ in diameter x 7 1/2″ tall. Overall it measures 22 1/2 tall. Antique Puffy Bent Slag Glass Table Lamp Victorian Art Nouveau
This is a beautiful antique slag glass lamp. Caramel “puffy” glass on the shade as well as on the base. The lamp measures 21 1/2″ tall x 18″ wide. Shade has Art Nouveau floral swags and cartouches. The base has two handles and a metal design over the slag glass top and bottom on both sides of the lamp. Two original sockets with pull chains. Lights top, bottom, and top with bottom. Glass is all original. Not signed, so I don’t know who the maker was. Stunning large slag glass lamp. Condition: The lamp appears to be all original except for the wiring and the on/off switch on one side of the base. The cap at the top has a thin chip off the edge, which you can see in the photo taken of the top of the lamp. This is obviously not very noticeable because it’s on the very top of the lamp, but the shade may appear to be just very slightly higher on one side than the other. The base has some loss to the metal design, situated over the glass, at the top, where it appears some of it was cut off, although it looks the same on both sides. This is not something you notice unless you examine the lamp very closely. And there is some loss to the metal design over the glass, on one side, on the bottom of the base (shown). If you were to turn that side of the lamp to the wall, you wouldn’t know there was any loss…. Well, except for the fact that I just told you. The shade appears to be in very good condition. I don’t see any loss and the glass is all intact with no cracks. Thanks for stopping by.
