Antique Miller Bent Slag Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh Empire Styles
This is a Beautiful signed Miller lamp from the 1920s. It has its original fine patinated Gold finish from the sculpted base to the top of the finial. There is some wear to the high spots on the beautifully sculpted base column which adds to its look and character. It is in wonderful condition. This lamp stands 23 inches tall to the top of the finial. The sculpted base stands 21 inches tall on it’s 7 1/2 inch diameter base. The Shade is 16 1/2 inch in diameter and the variegated carmel bent slag glass shade is about 61/2 inches tall. All the sculpted overlay is complete with almost all of its original finish and the bent slag glass is all there without any cracks or breaks. The lamp has been correctly rewired and everything works perfectly. The fluted and sculpted vase like column has a great patinated tone and look to it. The bottom of the base is marked “MLCO, 233″. Pair of Antique 4 Panel Caramel Bent Slag Glass Cast Metal Boudoir Table Lamps. Presented for your consideration a Fabulous Pair of Early 20th Century Antique 4 Panel Caramel Bent Slag Glass Boudoir Table Lamps. The lamps are in extra fine original condition. No breaks, cracks or damage noted in the cast metal work or glass panels. The wiring is original with brittle places in the plastic along the electrical cord. Please Note For safety reasons, the wiring needs to be checked by a professional and replaced prior to use. The lamps feature a Arts & Crafts/Art Nouveau/Art Deco period designs with a two piece construction. The lids have four panels of slag glass and a finial at the top, and rest on the bases. The matching bases also have four slag glass panels, a round turning switch knob near the bottom and a flared foot with period shell designs. The slag glass panels are light caramel in color and the metal work frames are toned with age in a darkened bronze color and a warm silver-tone finish. Awesome Antique Arts & Crafts Table Lamp Cream Beige Bent Slag Glass Shades
For consideration is this Beautiful Awesome Arts and Craft Antique Table Lamp featuring Cream or Beige Bent or Curved Convex Slag Glass Shade on Base with Pull Chain Switches on Sockets Base. Because of the way the shades are protected by the strip of metal (see photos), we believe this is a Bradley Hubbard shade but it is not signed. We deal in antique slag glass and have never seen this type of construction, other than Bradley Hubbard. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. This is another lamp we have married the base and shade. Any person familiar with antique slag glass understands that some times there are imperfections in the glass (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass (see photos). We found the base in a antique store in Natchez, Mississippi, years ago. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. They measure approximately 16 inches in diameter for shade, 8 inches in diameter at base and 21 inches tall for lamps (to top of shades). This also applies to non lower 48, USA locations. Antique Art Nouveau Bent Slag Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Miller Handel Empire
This is a superb antique panel lamp from the early 1900′s. This is a really nice example and looks to be original shade/base combination. Nice clean patina all around and very detailed, ornate metal work. Original glass in excellent condition with no cracks or damage. This is a recent find from a southern estate. It is not signed that I have found. Previous owners had appraised and identified against loss and it was then attributed to Bradley and Hubbard. Looks to have been rewired and it does work. As with all antique electronics, we recommend you check to your satisfaction prior to use for safety. Nice old copper sockets and ball pulls finish off this beautiful piece. Scarce Miller Intermediate or Miniature Bent Panel Slag Glass Table Lamp ca 1915
Just out of a local smoke free house is this fine antique slag glass panel lamp. It is a scarce size and can be considered an intermediate or miniature size table lamp. It was made by the miller lamp company around 1915. It has a dome shaped shade with 8 bent caramel slag glass panels under an ornate metal filigree. The base also has an ornate design and is marked under the base plate Miller 915. The socket is marked Bryant with a Nov 26 1907 patent. The lamp measures about 17 inches tall, about 6 inches across the base, and about 9 7/8 inches at its widest. The shade alone measures about 9 7/8 inches wide and about 5 3/8 inches high. The lamp is in good condition. The original glass has no cracks and has good color. The base has significant wear to the finish. The wire was updated years ago and the electrics work well.
