1930s ART & CRAFTS MISSION TABLE LAMP With SLAG GLASS SHADE
This 1930s Arts & Crafts Mission two-light table lamp is made of cast iron (base), heavy cast metal (stem body, shade frame and shade cap), and brass (rolled upper stem, spun socket bodies and cast finial). The bottom of the base has “459″ etched on it. It has been restored to its original soft yellow. The slag glass panels are white with swirls of honey. The four slag glass panels are original. All the slag glass panels are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This classic Arts & Crafts Mission slag glass lamp stands 21 1/2″ tall & has a 12″ wide shade. The cast iron lamp base is 7 1/2 in diameter. Original pull-chain light sockets are rewired with gold cloth covered cord & a new repro bakelite plug. It weighs 8 lbs. Light bulbs not included. 4 ea – 1930s Art Deco Pagoda Post Lamps w/ Slag Glass Inserts (Super Scarce). The Flared Pagoda gives a deco style rare to post lamps. Each is approximately a whopping 17″ Tall and 7.5″ x 7.5. Slag glass inserts are caramel cream and free of cracks. They have been rewired and ready to install along a driveway. Or even up the sidewalk to the house on posts. A standard edison keyless bulb socket. The tops are easily removed. With thumb tight screws to replace light bulbs and I would suggest. LED bulbs to curtail any damage to the glass inserts. If failed to mention it. They are made of aluminum which was a costly metal back then. (This will curtail the porch pirates). French Antique Slip Shade ART DECO Wall Sconce Lamp Light Brass Slag Glass 1930s. This is a beautiful Art Deco wall sconce. It has a brass/bronze mount with a slip shade that has been hand blown. The slip shade is made of beautiful slag glass, which gives a beautiful soft light when lit. The frame has a stunning geometrical design, typical for the Art Deco era. It was made around the 1930′s in France. Height sconce: about 12 1/4 inch / 31 cm. Width sconce: about 9 1/2 inch / 24 cm. Some minor surface wear and patina to the mount, some very minor wear around the edges of the glass shade, see the photos. This is a European wired lamp and it might need some adjustments if you live outside of Europe. Even though this is a working lamp, the safety of it can only be guaranteed if you let it get checked and installed by a qualified electrician. Flowers in the first photo are not included.
