Rare Antique Brown Slag Glass Lighthouse Lamp
Rare Antique Brown Lighthouse Lamp. This lamp is gorgeous and in amazing condition. No cracks or breaks to the glass (shade and base) Will need to be re-wired. The base does not turn off so the entire lamp will need to be unplugged each day. Any questions please ask. The lamp at some point was soldered. You can see it in the picture. Hopefully the lamp can be rewired. I have consulted a repair shop that indicated a splicer in the wire could be done and a push clicker could be installed to shut the entire lamp off since the base always remains on. The lamp is packaged up so if additional photos are required I will have to search for them.
HUGE Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Lamp by Wilkinson Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really great looking and quite large floral lamp by Wilkinson. I love the curved panels in it that end with an amazing floral apron. Its a large and impressive lamp with a 20″ diameter shade that stands 26″ tall. Its in excellent, all original condition and appears to have been very well cared for in its over 120 year life! I see no cracks at all in the shade, which in and of itself is quite amazing. The use of bent glass and really thin lead lines attests to the quality of this maker and really adds to the beauty of the lamp. The base is super heavy and has a wonderful dark green finish. It has all of its original hardware and has recently been rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Wilkinson made some really great lamps and because of the bent panels in this one, I’d say it is one of their better floral ones. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
Contemporary Vintage Slag Art Oxblood Type Swirl Ball Glass KEROSENE OIL LAMP
This lamp was picked up at a local estate sale of a gentleman who collected oil lamp for many years. Lamp was found sitting on an early piano. This lamp was difficult to research because it’s a bit unusual and yet it’s an incredibly beautiful art glass lamp. After much research, someone suggestion it was made for SS Kresge department stores. Imported from Korea during the 1960s. The base is real carrara marble measuring 3 1/2″ square by 7/8″ thickness. The glass ball attached to brass pedestal. The glass ball is 4 1/2 ish in diameter. Very clean collar with an inside of 1 1/4 diameter. The brass wick thing is made by Eagle. Overall height before screwing on the Eagle thing is 8. The swirl art glass resembles the famous look of Akro marble with Oxblood. The condition of the ball section is perfect. The marble base has a little bit of wear but absolutely nothing to fret about. If you want a very cool contemporary art glass lamp…
