It features socket based pull chain switch. The shade is very rare, alone worth almost list price. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. It was originally a floor lamp. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in slag glass shade. It measures approximately 15 inches front of shade to back of base on back side as shown in gallery photo, 4.75 inches in diameter for shade, 7.5 inches square at base and 23.5 inches tall. Monumental Arts & Crafts Hand Hammered Slag Glass Lamp Stickley Style Adirondack
Monumental Arts & Crafts Lamp. In the style of Roycroft, Limbert, Stickley there are no marks that I can find but is of high quality. Large shade is 26 in width with caramel colored slag glass. Height is 30 to the top of the removable crown. The base is 10 wide across and very detailed. Lamp retains it’s original dark brown patina. The lamp was originally a gas lamp that has been converted to electricity with three sockets and has been newly rewired with a period style cord, ready for use in your home. Pictures are not showing just how large this is, make sure your room can accommodate. Condition is excellent, please view all pictures provided as they are the best description. Handel Base Parker Shade Slag Glass Antique Art Nouveau Lamp Bradley Hubbard Era
Handel Base Parker Shade Slag Glass Antique Art Nouveau Lamp Bradley Hubbard Era. That’s an unbelievable savings!!! This lamp is in overall very nice overall condition. This is a larger than normal lamp measuring in at 24.5 inches tall with the shade being 20 inches wide. Let’s start with the shade. No missing glass segments in the shade of course and no filligree losses around the shade. No breaks or cracks in the slag glass panels and all panels being original. No other makers made lamps in the same appearance or style of Charles Parker, nobody. Now onto the Handel base. Its in fine working order and again there is no damage to report. No dents or dings or metalware loses. This style of Handel base would have been used for their best lamp shades of which would have been their reverse painted lamps, typically bird scenes. The base recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base also with three, and original to the base, matching Hubbell pulls in matching patina. This lamp will command any room its put in and lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table due to its arts and crafts design and form. All in all a super nice arts and crafts/prairie style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was so you cant beat that. Beautiful hanging slag glass light. Has multi colors in the panels – porcelain light bulb fixture. Tulip shaped and in excellent condition and no cracks or chips. Bronze colored pressed metal / tin frame with beads and decorative embossed pattern though out the frame. 18 diameter along the bottom. 9 1/2 diameter along the top scallop edge. 10 1/2 tall from the bottom to the top. Hanging chain from fixture brace to end is roughly 20 1/2 long. The lamp shade has 8 panels – and a scallop top all with cream and brown slag glass. Large Miller Lamp Co. Base for a Slag Glass Shade. The round platform bottom is heavy cast iron, and the stem is spelter, or a metal that does not take a magnet. The base has been repainted very well and it looks like it has an old patina. The base is 18 tall plus the socket. The bottom is 8 diameter.
