Introducing one of Bradley & Hubbard’s Finest! Presented on display before you is Bradley & Hubbard’s “Lotus” Chinese Lantern Fan Look Slag Glass Lamp Circa 1909. A beautiful antique brown patina presentation of Lotus flowers in different stages of blooming residing within long radiating reeds decorating this large 8 sided lamp shades filigree structure. This antique library lamp possesses a. “One of a Kind” never seen before long stem lamp base that blooms at the bottom into a beautiful “Lotus Flower” that resides within a pottery like old Arts & Crafts looking substance that resembles some type of Teco early period pottery product. Unique, Unusual, and Straight Up Spectacular! All filigree is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, no breakage, no splitage, and no missing pieces. Lamp has a Fantastic Finial! “LARGE LAMP SHADE measures 18 1/2″ Wide. Lamp shade is SIGNED 4 separate times Bradley & Hubbard MFG CO. On every other railing trolley on inner part of bottom lamp shade rims. Double socket Lotus decorated lamp base is also SIGNED 4 separate times. 2 signatures at top area, one has triangle logo Bradley & Hubbard MFG CO. And other says PAT APL’D FOR, also SIGNED 2 separate times on the bottom of lamp base and bottom plate B & H Logo 171 P and 317B. And those are very rare old part numbers engraved on the lamp bottom. “8 TOTAL SIGNATURE MARKINGS IN ALL”. Lamp base has been recently rewired with period style cloth cord and matching period style plug, and green felt pad now present on bottom of lamp base that covers the bottom base plate. Lamp is in good working order. Lamp Measures 24 from top of finial to bottom of lamp base. Normal Antique Aging and Wear Present on this Lamp shade and Lamp base which is common and consistent on old antique lamps over 100 years old. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Antique Art Nouveau Vtg Filigree Table Lamp Soft metal for slag stained glass
Antique Vtg Art Nouveau Table Lamp Base & Shade for slag stained glass. I find no maker names on it. The shade is VERY bendable/moveable/soft. It is a little out of shape and because it is so soft I did not want to move it much for fear of breaking it. Signs of natural aged patina, tarnish, aged dust. Some of the tabs on the inside that would hold the glass pieces are broken off/missing (ex photo 12). The round piece that goes on top of the shade (photo 3 & 4) is broken off the ornate frame and slightly dented/bent. You cannot put the shade on the lamp until that is reattached. In photo one I put that round piece down first just so I could rest the shade on something to give you an idea of what the lamp would look like once repaired. The color is like a brass color however there is like a greyish/blueish patina over the entire piece. I have not tested the lamp as the wiring is older and I did not trust it. Lamp measures 21 tall (to top of finial on lamp shard holder/harp). The panels on the shade measure 8 long. There are 6 panels. The 6 paneled lamp shade weighs 5 pounds 3 ounce. The lamp base/column weighs 3 pounds. I think this could be a beautiful piece once restored properly. We are not antique dealers, collectors or experts. Up for consideration is this Awesome One of Kind Antique Gothic Arts and Crafts Torch Table Lamp featuring Brown – Blue Polygon Slag Glass Shade. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. The base was originally from a floor lamp and the shade was a swag hanging lamp. The cap-cover and finial have a fastener and pull up to access socket for bulb replacement (see photos). There are fleur de lis on upper part of shade but one of them back by henge is missing (seep photos). There are areas of patina or tarnish and blemishes on the metal (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass (see photos). The shade frame has some chipped missing paint (see photos). Mission art craft leaded slag stained glass lamp duffner kimberly tiffany handel
A truly outstanding beautiful all original rare antique Duffner & Kimberly early table lamp. This was a gas lamp that was converted to electric a long time ago. The all original slag glass in this shade is truly outstanding full of color and fire that is often missing in other lamps the photos don’t do it any justice. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or damage. The base plate is thick solid cast bronze making the base nice and heavy. The original patina on the base is in excellent untouched condition. The casting and overall quality of this lamp is very fine. There are what may appear to be a few cracks in a couple pieces of the slag glass that are shown in the last two photos, but they are not cracks at all. The top of the shade is slightly irregular as shown but will go unnoticed. It has been completely rewired with a new antique style cloth covered cord with the original bake-o-lite wall plug. The pull chain light socket is in perfect working order. I’ve installed a new paper socket liner for safety. Ready to use and enjoy for many years to come. It stands 22-1/2″ tall, and the shade is 16-1/2″ wide by 8-1/2 tall. The base is 7-1/2 wide. The shade will be double boxed with the base sent separately.
