HUGE Handel Leaded Slag Stained Glass Arts & Crafts Griffin Form Lamp Base
Here’s a HUGE and very rare Handel triple griffin lamp base. Solid bronze with an additional heavy weight on the bottom. 29″ tall, 12″ round at the bottom. Complete with three matching Hubbell stamped sockets having their original porcelain interiors and acorn pull chains. Includes cap and finial and is even wired up with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use. This is a very large and heavy lamp base….. Big enough for any of their very large leaded or overlay shades. It is not signed (probably had a cloth felt and tag on the bottom), but is 100% guaranteed to be a Handel lamp base. Antique Rare SLAG GLASS TABLE LAMP STATUE OF LIBERTY ELLIS ISLAND STEAM SHIPS
An early 20th century cast iron lamp with Miller Statue of Liberty slag glass shade, illegibly signed but for the maker’s location, “Chicago”, the base with classical ornament and supporting a slender vase form column surmounted by a Miller “Statue of Liberty” slag glass shade. Base now painted green and with losses, shade is not a perfect fit with the ring, must be carefully centered prior to tightening the finial, glass good, later ring soldered to top, one rib on shade with split, minor bends ACCESSORIES: Lamp Base. 24.5 x 19.25 in. Antique Victorian Slag Glass Lamp w/ Beaded Floral Fringe Stunning. 1st off the overall coloration of this lamp has a pink and blue feel with a pink and green floral beaded design.. When the lamp is on the coloration is more of a peach and blue and green scheme. And let me just say it is absolutely stunning. This is an antique Slag glass lamp that Is surely dated pre 1940. 28″ With a large shade that spans 18″ The glass is in perfect condition, the base looks wonderful. Even the beading looks great though there are a few strands that are missing beads but it’s hardly noticeable because the overall design is intact. See pictures.
