Vtg Wescal Tiffany Style Palm Tree Table Lamp Slag Glass Shade Stained Wood Base
Here’s a really unique original vintage palm tree lamp made by Wescal. I searched the internet and I could not find another one like it. I believe this is from the 1960′s. Perfect for a boho / surfer theme decor! The base is made out of real wood and is carved to look like a palm tree trunk. The shade is made out of green slag glass with white milk streaks in the shape of leaves, and is held together with leaded joints. This lamp measures 21 1/4″ tall, and the shade is 14 1/4″ in diameter. It is in working condition. The top of the harp is marked Wescal. Notice there are some cracks in the’trunk’ from age, still very solid though. There is a slight smoke smell that should come off with cleaning or just airing out (estate find). There is a switch on the socket. This lamp will be carefully packaged in a new heavy duty box and double boxed. All photos are of the actual item you will receive if you win. Antique Slag Glass Lamp
Piece depicts Dutch countryside in filigree, featuring triple panel design, with caramel, sky blue, and purple w/pink glass panels. This antique lamp has 20 slag glass panels, completely intact, perfect, no cracks or chips. The filigree is likewise complete, with no breaks, solder repairs, or imperfections. Has original wiring with the exception of lower socket being rewired by previous owner in 1950′s. He used the original socket, and 1950′s wire, which is a dedicated line from lower switch to lower socket. The rewiring was done properly so as not to see wires when base is lit. Art Deco 1920s Frankart Flapper Nymph Silhouette Slag Glass Lamp Billings 1989
For your consideration is a gorgeous 1920s inspired slag glass lamp featuring the silhouette of a flapper / nymph. Stands 9 inches tall and is 6 inches wide. Made of heavy metal (appears to be bronze) with a beautiful piece of blue purple slag glass. You’ll need one small 60 bulb with a chandelier base to make this beauty shine; I’m not including the bulb. The back of the lamp near the base is marked (c) 1989 Billings. Sarsaparilla Deco Design also makes a version of this lamp. My research indicates that these newer versions were made from an actual 1920s mold of an original Frankart Art Deco design. This lamp is in beautiful condition. The cord and switch operate well. The glass is secure. No flaws on the metal. Heres a nice Antique Slag Glass Lamp Shade. It measures approximately 12 square and its about 9 tall including the mounting part which is lower than the bottom of the shade. Handel Arts Crafts Tulip Slag Glass Antique Mission Lamp Bradley Hubbard Era
That’s huge overall savings folks. I have for sale this very nice Handel arts and crafts style desk/piano lamp. This tulip lamp is in very good overall condition and needs no excuses. No chips, cracks, or breaks in the glass and or metalware on the base. The base in fine working order and recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. RARE Handel Leaded Slag Stained Glass Griffin FLOOR Lamp Base
This is an RARE, 100% original and authentic, Handel griffin floor lamp base. I have seen this design in table bases, but not on floor lamps before. This one has a rather thin stem, so I expect it was made for a mica or cloth type shade. It is large and impressive, standing at 67 1/2″ tall with a bottom that is about 12″ in diameter. The base has its original finish, cluster, cap and unusual multi-faceted glass finial. Sockets are marked ARROW and have their original porcelain interiors and tassel ends (which is also why I expect this was for a cloth or mica shade since other Handel items typically come with Hubbells and acorn pulls). It does not appeared to be signed anywhere that I can see, but is 100% authentic period Handel (and not a copy or reproduction).
