Beautiful antique 8 panel green slag glass lamp. Glass panels are in great condition. Does not have a top cap. Two of the panels have tiny tips of decorative metal missing, difficult to notice (see photos). Lamp appears to have been recently rewired and works well. Shade is just over 15 across. Bradley Hubbard Arts Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Antique Vintage Lamp Handel Era NR
I have never owned nor seen this b and h before until this one. This is one of the coolest lamps you will ever see and its in excellent original condition and you will have it in plenty of time for Christmas. This is also a full sized lamp as well measuring in at 23 inches tall, with the shade being 17.5 inches wide. The very well made and very heavy base with its all original Bryant socket cluster and satellite pulls all working nicely and there is zero damage to report as well. The base in good original patina throughout and recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. No breaks in the metalware at all with the base, as this is a heavy and well made be and h base that is seldom seen. As for the shade that is also in very nice overall condition. No breaks, cracks, or chips in the glass and the filligree all solid and without breaks as well. The filligree matching the the perfectly-please see photos thereof. Again this is a super b and h lamp and in excellent overall condition and at least semi rare if not completely rare. Thanks for looking and please check out my other period arts and crafts lighting. RARE Charles Parker Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a very RARE leaded glass lamp made by the Charles Parker Company. If you are looking at this ad you are likely familiar with this company and know that their lamps like this are hard to find and rarely offered. This is a very fine example with a really cool looking shade. I will let my pictures do the talking here since they can do a better job than I can about. It, but will note that the shade is 19 1/2″ in diameter and the lamp stands 23 1/2″ tall. I see two small breaks in two of the very small caramel edge pieces, but other than these the shade is essentially perfect. Base and shade have matching gun metal sort of finish and look to have been together since they were made. Wondeful, large, bulbous base has its original finiah, P&S labeled sockets (with their original porcelain interiors and satellite ended pulls), cap and finial. It has has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is a really nice and I. Fairly RARE example of Charles Parker’s work and is in very fine condition overall. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. Great and highly colorful look, and very well done. 14″ shade, 20 1/2″ tall. 5 or 6 small cracks, but no repairs or replaced glass. Base has a really wonderful dark greenish patina. It has its origianl Paiste turn key socket and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord. Is a really nice example of Unique’s work and is in very fine condition overall. Handel Arts Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Reverse Painted Lamp Bradley Hubbard Era
This is a very hard to find and quite desirable handel base in this gold colored patina. Great form and color with the base measuring 23 inches tall. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It has its original three socket hubbell cluster and its been recently rewired with correct period style cloth cord and old style plug. The patina worn a little bit here or there on the base as would be expected for a 100 year old base. This base would have had a reverse painted shade on it and most likely in a desirable bird motif as such its a way better than average handel lamp base. The base with its original cap and finial and and bottom felt with Handel tag. Tag has been reapplied by myself as the 100 year old glue has given out. I merely mention this for accuracy sake. Salem Brothers Arts Craft Mission 12 Panel Slag Glass Bradley/Hubbard Era Lamp
This Antique Signed Salem Brothers Lamp has been fully restored to its original condition. It has new wiring but still retains the original socket. It shows a African Sahara scene with Lions, Gazelle in the reeds. A cottage with billowing smoke and the towering Acacia Tree dominating each panel. The lower panels show the rich green grass with the top panels showing many different colors to represent the hues of the sky. There are 12 panels and all are in excellent condition. Each filigree panel are slightly different and show quality workmanship from a bygone era. The shade measures 18″ across and the overall height is 26″. Duffner Kimberly Lamp, Leaded, Slag, Stained Glass Shade, Arts Crafts, Handel Lamp
Up for consideration is a very fine Duffner & Kimberly Adams Lamp. This beauty is shown in the PAUL Crist Mosaic Shades Vol. 2 book page 204. This lamp is in fantastic condition. I counted 3 very small heat cracks on the bottom border. The lamp is huge 29 tall with a 8 foot. The shade is 22 in Dia. And 9 deep with a 3 3/4 slip fitter. This lamp is done in an Orig. Gold gilt finish from the shade leading to the base. The base is all orig. When I rewired this Base with period correct Brown cloth lamp wire all the sections of the base are numbered including the shade cap as shown. The sockets are Hubbell Harvey with orig. Interiors and acorn pulls. All matching gold gilt, even the Acorns. The plug is also Hubbell. The shade is just stunning. The glass is all orig. There is some wear to the gold gilt leading, There is one panel with no gold gilt around the glass panel but no replaced glass in this shade as you can see they all match. Old gilt lose is to be expected for 100 plus years old Lamp. These lamps dont come up very often. I have other pictures of the minor cracks or if you need additional pics or questions please ask. Up for consideration is a very nice Duffner Kimberly Hanging Shade. The shade has fantastic glass and is massive 27 in Dia. Also comes with a 6 socket Duffner cluster with Hubbell Sockets orig. Interiors and acorn pulls. Also comes with heavy brass link chain and a Duffner ceiling canopy. This fixture is all Duffner complete which you dont find very often. The fixture total length is 40 to the bottom of the shade. Condition is very nice is see a couple minor tight heat cracks no repairs or replaced glass. ANTIQUE AMERICAN Slag Glass Lamp 16 Slag Panels Table Lamp
ANTIQUE AMERICAN Slag Glass Lamp 16 Slag Panels. 1920-30 period table reading lamp. This lamp is gorgeously fashioned with elaborate filigree overlay of bows and ribbons dangling from the upper rim. Laurel wreaths decorate the lower portion with a bow over each blue slag. A geometric design frames the panels vertically. The shade has 8 caramel colored panels on the upper main portion of the shade. While the bottom rim holds 8 more beautiful blue sunset panels resembling the skyline at dusk. The base is very heavy cast copper mono-chrome metal with a banded fasce center stem. A fern design runs vertically surrounding & trimming the top and bottom of the stem. With cross rings separating the fasce and the ferns. The base has a lovely twisted link design with a petaled flower within each link. With a band of raised beading around the base diameter. This lamp has been restored and ready for use. Brown cloth 6 foot period wiring, original Bakelite 2 prong plug and 2 new pull chain standard sockets, operating individually. I will include the old cloth wiring for you if you wish. The slags are in very good condition, with some roughness/light chipping. On the edges inside which appear to have been done around the clips purposely. For fitting, see the photos, light scratching on the upper portion of the stem under where the shade covers, so it will not be seen. Measures 23″ tall, shade diameter point to point 17.5″, shade height about 10. The lamp and shade weigh 17.5 POUNDS. The lamp gives off plenty of light for reading.
