This is a rare & stunningly beautiful Charles Parker lamp with the well patina’d. The cast iron brass plating base for look. Style & patina is one of only a couple that I have seen in person or online. Picture 2 is going to be the new. Cord added to this lamp unless a different one is requested. The shade has beautiful colors all filigree present with a striking & lovely. It’s very hard to fully appreciate the look to the glass with pictures but I have. Tried to come as close as possible shown in pic 4 which still doesn’t quite capture it. This lamp is going to be around 90-110 years old. Diameter of the shade is app. 20 with total height of the lamp app. This lamp has 1 broken larger panel that has been professionally. Repaired making it unnoticeable when lit or unlit – a closeup of it is shown. In the last pic. 1 very small corner of the lower glass has a chip to it that. Has been repaired with not being seen at all- anything else is the normal. Rough edges due to their ways of cutting glass back then. Overall in excellent condition- that’s taking into account we are very. Particular with antique lighting. The lamp has been lightly cleaned since it was too dusty from attic or. For collectors or others that like to see it dusty or dirty. To show it’s true originality- pictures of it before or during cleaning. RARE Bradley & Hubbard Oasis Tropical Sunset Slag Glass Panel Lamp Handel Era
Just out of a local house is this very rare Bradley and Hubbard slag glass panel lamp. It is large and has the “Oasis” or Tropical overlay design somewhat like Handel’s tropical lamps. The lamp stands about 28 inches tall and weighs a substantial 29 pounds. The shade measures about 22 1/4 inches across, about 24 inches at its widest, and about 9 1/8 inches deep. The lamp has 8 upper panels in a caramel/white glass and 8 lower border panels in multi colored green, caramel, and a little orange and white glass. The base is highly detailed with winged angels or cherubs, acanthus leaves, and ornate scroll work. The base has an early B&H four socket cluster only marked Pat Apld For. The base has some wear to its finish, has some replaced sockets, and was rewired with antique style wire. The electrics all work well. The shade has lost a small portion of its palm tree filigree on one lower panel (see the last 2 photos to see the missing palm leaves). Some of the border glass may have been replaced some years ago but it is not easy to tell for sure. See photos as they are part of the description. We have known the previous owners of this lamp for over 40 years and they finally decided to sell it to us. It may be one of the rarest Bradley and Hubbard lamps ever made. CENTURY CAST BRONZE BEAR FIGURE, MOST LIKELY A CIGAR LIGHTER IN THE PAST, SET ON A BURL RED WOOD SLAG BASE. AND CONSIDER AND CLASSIFY THEM AS FOLK ART LIGHTING. Large art noveau lamp with bent slag glass shade. This is a beautiful vintage electric table lamp. The lamp has a decorative heavy metal base with a single stem and two light sockets. Each socket has a chain pull. The lamp metals have a dark patina. The shade has a decorative metal overlay of trees in a forest scene with caramel color bent slag glass and blue slag glass inserts with a river and cattails and reeds. It has an on-off switch on the cord. The lamp is 25 1/2″ tall to the top of the finial and the shade is 21″ across and 12 high. We always recommend the wiring be replaced for everyday use. Caramel Slag Glass Table Lamp – 1920′s. These signed 100% original Salem lamps are getting harder and harder to find. This particular one features one of their nicest designs with filigree depicting flower baskets and floral designs entwining the whole border. Note the same identical flowers on the shade filigree and the base. This lamp retains the original Bryant sockets with original bell pulls. Bradley & Hubbard Banquet Lamp with Slag Glass, Ruby Faceted Jewels
Bradley & Hubbard Banquet Lamp with Slag Glass, Ruby Faceted Jewels and Demonic Figures – 1880′s. This tall banquet lamp is unsigned but has every characteristic of Bradley & Hubbard. They imported these burners from Europe and incorporated them in their lamps. This Imperial burner is fully intact and in perfect condition. Beautiful copper finish and patina throughout, with several different demonic figures around the fount holder and base, and beautiful claw feet. Devil heads, winged lions, and mythological women’s heads surround the metal work. The shade has curved green slag glass panels with five ruby red faceted jewels incorporated within it. Perfect condition with no chips or cracks anywhere to be found. The flame spreader is a replacement but is correct, as is the chimney. The burner functions perfectly. This lamp has not been tested but there are no cracks in the fount so it should hold oil. DIMENSIONS: 32 from base to top of chimney. Shade measures 9 diameter x 8 tall with 5 fitter. A beautiful Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp. This gorgeous shade features 10 panels with caramel colored glass and a floral filigree design that frames the shade. The base is surrounded with unusual faces and sits upon a marble base and has a a brass finish. Very good condition with no chips or breaks.
