I think i have seen one in the past 20+ years and im not even sure of that lol. These types of lamps are very desired and I think you can see why. What a cool design and great look. Its a smaller lamp and as such more multi purpose. The base measures 13 inches tall and has no damage or issues. Its got its original patina throughout and its in very nice condition. The base without damage of any kind and in fine working order. It’s been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord as well. All parts and pieces original and exactly like you want to see it and own it. The shade measures 8 and ½ inches wide and its 4.5 inches tall. The shade in very nice overall condition and has no glass breaks or cracks and the filligree all in place and also without losses. All glass holding tabs accounted for and the glass also original throughout as well. This would have been, and is, murano glass although the murano sticker long gone. The shade very sturdy and well constructed and all filligree present and accounted for. All in all a very nice and rare Bradley and hubbard double lighting lamp. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. To sell them and not let my inventory sit around for years on end. Thanks for checking this great lamp out and please check out my other great lighting options as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Please Check out my other items! Some great Bradley Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. To all potential buyers. Please feel free to. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc. So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function. When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it. This has as great of an arts and crafts look to it as you will ever find. I have owned hundreds of b and h’s and looked at countless thousands of others and i have never seen this one before and Its in very good overall condition as well. The base with a very nice three socket cluster all in fine working order, fine patina, and original satellite pulls. This is one of bradley and hubbards nost desired bases and i believe to be referred to as a bean pot base. It has the bradley and hubbard telescoping feature (that no other makers used) where the owner can raise or lower the shade to its desired height simply by turning a know. The base as pictured is 22 inches tall and the shade is 18.5 inches wide. The base weighs a ton and is super well made as most of b and h’s stuff always was. It has been recently rewired with period correct cloth cord and with no metalware damage at all. The shade with very nice glass, please see photos. The leading tight and right throughout and without any missing glass. I see no stress cracks in any of the pieces of glass. This is as arts and crafts as it gets folks. Thanks for looking and please check out my other cool lamps I have up for sale now as well. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. Recently I have been putting different lighting on with reserves and no reserves. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. The bulb socket dates June 13, 1899 and the base is stamped MLCO 235 which is Miller Light Company. The lamp weight is about 10 lbs. The shade is about 6lbs 6 oz. And base and shaft is about 3lbs. Set up it is 20 1/2 inches height and 16 inches wide corner to corner of the farthest tips of this gorgeous Pentagon shaped shade. The slag glass is mostly green, brown and white variations. All glass is in tack with no cracks. I took a shot of the 9+ foot cord as I doubt it is original. The Last picture shows these little stubs where 3 of the 12 are worn or missing at the bottoms of the lamp frame but you really need to be analyzing the lamp to ever notice. Otherwise this is in great shape. I did not want to clean off the lamp other than a light dusting/vacuuming, as I was unsure of its elements gold, brass, iron?
