Vintage Slag Glass and Brass Table Lamp in Working Condition 20.5 Tall 12 Wide
Vintage Slag Glass and Brass Table Lamp in Working Condition 20.5″ Tall 12″ Wide. The shade measures 12″ across x 12″ deep x 9 tall. The total height of the lamp and shade is 20.5 tall. The lamp shade is attached to the lamp but I can unscrew the upper light section where the bulb is and can cut the electrical cord in order to get the shade off the top of the lamp. Doing this will destroy the wiring for the lamp but will save just the shade. All the panels on the shade look to be in good condition. No names or hallmarks was found anywhere on the lamp. As is unknown but I’m guessing the 1950′s era with a nice Arts & Crafts / Mission style design. The very bottom of the lamp has 2 small splits in the metal base. This is a Nice. Ceiling Mount Light Fixture. Arts & Crafts / Mission Style. As it is right. Hangs down 46 from the ceiling. The cord is lo. Ng enough though that if you added more chain it could hang down 6 feet. The lamp shade is approximately 19 1/2″ wide x 10″ tall. The glass is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks etc. It could use a detailed cleaning. The wiring, socket & chain are newer than the glass shade. The chai n doesn’t really match the fixture. Please see all photos. The round metal piece that attaches to the ceiling is missing. You could also take the lamp shade. Nd use it o. A table or floor lamp. It works as it should. Good wiring and socket. Gorgeous Arts and Crafts hanging suspended ceiling chandelier. The fixture is made of heavy brass with wide brass filigree. The stained or slag glass panels are all damage free and are a caramel or yellow/white in color. The wiring appears to be original and should be inspected/repaired/replaced prior to use. The chandelier did work prior to removal from past service. This was originally installed in an Arts and Crafts built style period home in the Buffalo NY USA region circa 1915. Overall drop from ceiling canopy to the bottom of the small satellite shades is 34″, The distance from the ceiling canopy to the top of the large center fixture is 12″, the height of the large center fixture is 8″, the width across the large center fixture at the top which is the widest point is 16″, the distance from the from the top of the large center fixture to the bottom of the satellite fixtures is 15 1/4″, the width of the satellite fixtures is 4 3/4″.
