Vtg Art Deco Uranium Slag Glass & Gold Cast Iron 4-Light 30s Floor Lamp WORKS
Up for your consideration is a gorgeous 1930s Art Deco Uranium slag glass & cast iron floor lamp! It has a total of four lights, all work and there are multiple settings so you can choose how many you’d like on. The center light was designed for a much larger bulb than what’s available today so we’ve fitted it with a brand new porcelain converter and it works with standard bulbs beautifully now. It dose NOT include the floral lamp shade or light bulbs. Any glass shade that style should fit though. The cast iron components and two UV-reactive slag glass pieces are in great condition. I’m not sure if the wiring is original, but it is older and has imperfections in the cord. As you can see in the pictures the cardboard encasing on the three side lights has come undone. However all-in-all, my opinion is that it is in impressive condition for a nearly 100-year old lamp and it will be the highlight of any room! RARE Antique Uranium Vaseline and Cast Iron Hurricane “Electrified” Table Lamp with flowers. This is an amazing piece of Art history! Presumably originally an kerosene oil lamp, it was converted to electric ages ago based upon inspection of the wiring. The markings are pretty clear. This Lamp has been tested and is working. The lamp stands Approximately 14-1/2 Tall, Not including the light bulb. (which this is the only one I had) Width of the base is 7″ and is about 7″ in depth. Base of the glass hurricane is 2-1/2.
