Up for your consideration is a fine signed Rainaud slag glass lamp, in the Art Nouveau style, c. The lamp has caramel slag glass panels, that are bent outward near the bottom perimeter, which features an original painted filigree in green and red. The lamp base is signed “Rainaud”, and the lamp shade (and all other parts) are original to the lamp. It has been professionally rewired with a cloth cord, and is ready for immediate use. The piece is 17.5″ in diameter and 8″ tall, the bace base is 23 tall from base to finial. Overall, the lamp is in excellent condition. The shade is free of cracks, chips, restorations, or missing filigree. The base is complete, intact, and stands straight, but has lost much of its original polychrome decoration (paint). Antique Miller 6 Panel Amber Carmel Slag Glass Library Table Lamp Signed
Early 20th century Miller Lamp Company caramel amber slag glass table lamp with a floral and vine design on shade. And model #242 on the inside cast iron base. Antiqued gold/bronze applied finish to the metal parts. Cast iron lamp shade support, non- magnetic metal on column standard and metal on shade. Metal overlay floral design on shade. Looks like a morning glory flower and leaves/vine. Caramel slag glass with variegated colors of greens, creams, caramel and amber running through the glass. Single pull chain socket. New age appropriate rayon cloth covered cord, acorn round plug and socket has been added to the lamp to update it to working order. Dimensions are 21″ tall overall, 7 7/8″ across the base. The shade is 16 5/8″ across the bottom , 7″ tall and has a 3 3/8 top opening. In good antique working order. No cracks or breaks to the slag glass. There is some age appropriate finish loss on the base and shade, please see last two photos of this. Some dust under filigree open work on the shade. Antique Art Nouveau Blue 8 Panel Slag Glass Table Lamp Signed
American 1st quarter of the 20th century blue slag glass table lamp. The blue slag glass has some light purple colors running through it. Filigree frame work with basket and flower design. Blue slag glass color when lamp is turned off and glass looks more carmel color when lamp is turned on. Iron base and white metal column and shade. Patinated finish in a very dark green color. The photos make it look almost black but it’s not. Double socket with pull chains. Makers mark on bottom of base appears to be a Y over two R’s encircled and a #1712. Hand cut, rough cut edges to glass panels. Wiring has been updated and replaced at sometime. In very good used antique working condition. There are no breaks or cracks to the glass panels. There is a dent on the column post of base. There is some age appropriate wear to the finish of the base. See last two photos of this. Please see all photos as they are part of the description also. Antique Signed Miller Bent Slag Glass Panel Art Nouveau Lamp Handel B&H Era
Just out of a local house is this exceptional signed Miller slag glass panel lamp. It has an ornate Art Nouveau filigree or overlay shade with 6 serpentine bent green and white slag glass upper panels and 6 red/orange slag glass lower panels. The lamp is fairly large and stands about 25 inches tall. The shade measures about 17 7/8 inches across, about 20 5/8 inches at its widest, and about 9 5/8 inches deep. The lamp is in good condition. The shade has one cracked upper panel that we pictured. The base has some loss to its finish but retains its original sockets marked Hubbell and Miller Lamps. They also have the original acorn pulls that are marked Miller Lamps. The wire was updated years ago and the electrics work well. See photos as they are part of the description. Rare Handel 4 socket with Poulsen (P & H) Slag Glass Lamp, Both Signed
Rare Handel 4 socket with Poulsen (P & H) Slag Glass Lamp, both signed. I have dealt with many Handel Lamps over the years and I’ve had a lot of 2 socket and 3 socket pieces in my collection. I have not seen a 4 socket in many a year. To say that they are hard to get is extremely scarce. One chain is slightly longer than the other three? The lamp is rewired and all 4 sockets light up perfect. The lamp stands 23″ tall and with a 7 1/2″ base. Topped off on this base is a magnificent 19, 16 panel signed Loius Poulsen shade. Poulsen born in 1874 was one of the leading designers of shades for his time. A function and design of his products are tailored to reflect and support the rhythm of natural light. Every detail of his design has a purpose, every design starts and ends with light. He was truly one of the most passionate craftsman of the period. I’ve described this as best I can due to the early age there may be minor signs of wear in the many years it has been through. MAGNIFICENT to behold when lit. Renew the Past Policies. Up for your consideration is a fine Art Nouveau slag glass lamp, made by Miller, c. It is signed on the underside, and the shade appears to mach the base. The shade is 20″ in diameter, and 10″ tall. The glass pieces are free of chips, cracks, damage, or repair. It appears that the base has been repainted brown. The lamp is rewired, and ready for immediate use. The piece is 24″ tall, 7″ wide, and 7 deep. Overall, the piece is in excellent condition. There are minor cracks to the shade frame, see last photo. The glass is without chips, cracks, or breaks and the lamp is in working condition. It appears possible that some of the upper filigree was removed in a matched way that is identical to each panel.
