Signed Royal Arts lamp w/Huge six panel slag glass shade Handel era. If you are looking for a truly original absolutely pristine lamp with shade, this is the one for you. The base and the shade in my opinion, have the original 99% colors. (see pictures, they tell a story). This lamp is approx 23 1/2″ tall to finial with a large 8″ highly colored base. The shade is 19 in diameter and retains almost all of its original colors. This lamp was someone’s baby. The shade appears by color and filigree design to very possibly being a Moe Bridges. There are no breaks in the glass, base or filigree. Although the glass could use a good cleaning, wear commensurate with age. Small inconsistencies in the slag glass here and there as you would expect cosmetic call out. Look at the pictures again, this lamp is amazing! Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp Iron Base Signed Shade 1920s Arts Crafts
A beautiful arts and crafts era Bradley and Hubbard slag glass lamp. Cast iron and wood base with original paint and patina. The shade is marked in 2 places Bradley and Hubbard mfg co. Shade is in good sturdy condition without cracks or metal loss. Shade does have a slight bend or warp to it, nothing real major. Lamp has probably been rewired at some point, currently working. I would have the electrical checked. Stands about 21 1/2 inches tallest with finial. Shade is about 13 inches in diameter on the straight edges. 15 in diameter at points. Shade stands about 8 high. The metal frame was made in leaves and a few clusters of wild yellow and pale red roses. All slag glass panels are original. Having nice an original verdigris patina/please look at the pictures/.. Most popular and classic colors! In very good working order. Shade has 18″ in diameter , lamp base is 25″ tall. All parts are original, original heat cap, original cluster with three “HUBBEL” old sockets with pull chains. Very nice an original antique copper finish patina , typical wear and minor losses to painted decoration commensurate with age. Shade has been soldered around the top but still has strong structure. Antique SIGNED HANDEL Slag Glass Table Lamp
Up for your consideration is a beautiful signed Handel table lamp with a basket weave overlay and floral border. It is ALL original! The 3 light sockets are Hubbell, all have the acorn pulls. The slag glass is in perfect condition and the painted vine roses are still vibrant in color and in excellent condition. The filigree is in great condition too, with one small area of separation in between panels (shown in pictures). Both the base and shade are signed Handel. The cloth cord is in excellent condition. Antique Handel Leaded Slag Glass Table Lamp Tree Base Signed
American Art Nouveau Handel Lamp with a. Domed shade with shaped rim edge. The brown patinated naturalistic base is formed as a tree trunk sitting on a wood base that someone added, it is probably signed underneath. The shade is impressed with Handel on it in beautiful green marble slag glass and cream on the lower edge. The design over the cream slag glass is of leaves which would be for the top of the tree. There is a crack in the one panel of the cream slag glass that goes down to split it in two. The other crack is in a corner which I have shown both in the picture, they do not detract from the beauty of the lamp. There are three sockets for the bulbs and it has an old cord. A Handel leaded slag glass and patinated metal table lamp, circa 1910. The shade is 18 5/8 inches across and 9 1/2 inches high. Antique Miller green Slag Glass Boudoir Lamp 2 x signed Handel, B&H period
I’ve had this antique slag glass Miller boudoir lamp in my collection for 7 or 8 years. It is a rare form, and I like it, but it’s time to sell and make some room. It is 16 tall to the top of the finial and has a 6′ base. The lamp is signed twice. The socket says Miller Lamps and the base is marked E M & Co 1128. The shade is vented and has 6 sides. It is 10″ at the widest dimension, 8 1/2″ across the parallel sides, and 6 1/4 tall. Over all it is in pretty good antique condition. It does have some wear to the finish as you can see. The satin finish glass is complete and unbroken. That being said, it does have one replaced panel. When I first got it I had a local gentlemen make the repair. He did a very good job with the curve and color match. For some reason the difference in color shows more on the inside. From the outside, weather lit or unlit , it is barely discernible, and would have to be pointed out to most people. 1 and 2 show the repaired panel. At the time the glass was repaired I also had a small crack in the shade frame soldered. It can be seen in picture 11. It’s quite solid and has given me no trouble. The shade is straight and has all off it’s glass tabs. Generally I use a 40 watt small size bulb in this lamp as seen in the pictures. That seems to show the glass off the nicest. It gives off as nice minty green light when lit that is impossible to reproduce in photos. The push pull lamp socket works very well and has been rewired with period appropriate cloth covered cord. Signed Handel 3 socket full tree trunk Lamp with22 slag glass leaded shade
Signed Handel full 3 socket tree trunk Lamp w/22 slag glass leaded shade. This is a massive Handel lamp base with an enormous leaded shade. The lamp base retains its original patina consistent with its age. The ornate tree trunk design is clearly defined (see pictures). The extension on the top was made by Handel for larger shades made during that period. The lamp stands 26 tall to the top of the finial, it has Paiste sockets with acorn pulls. The shade may have been made by Handel or made for them. This shade design is shown in the Paul Crist Book on page 161 in the domical shape, peony design, although some of the colors may have been made up custom. As he suggests shades of this design could have been made by Hamilton Howell designer of Duffner and Kimberly shades. But the shade was definitely made for a Handel Lamp at some point. You can tell by the shade ring in the glass that fits perfect to the Handel ring, my assumption is that possibly someone had the lamp base and added the shade with the riser at some point? The lamp appears to have been recently rewired. I will be listing some top end lamps that I have available. We invite questions to be asked at any time!!!! Signed Handel Base with Moe Bridges Slag Glass Shade. It is a three socket with high end Yost thumb sockets. The base has beautiful original patina, it appears to be recently rewired. The shade has been attributed to Moe Bridges and is spectacular in every detail (see pictures). There are no breaks or cracks in the metal work or the glass, in my opinion near mint condition.
