It has its original Art Nouveau sculptured floral base colour with subtle touches of powdery blue and green accenting floral and fauna adding to its beauty. It’s in wonderful condition. Royal Art Glass Carmel Slag Glass & Metal Overlay Table Lamp Early 1900′s
This is an original Royal Art Glass Table Lamp. The glass canopy is carmel slag glass. It measures 18 inches in diameter. The lamp was recently re-wired and as you can see works fine. I would date this lamp back to the early 1900′s. Overall the lamp is in very good shape. The only defectsj are some slight scratches in the base (see pix). Will take good care in. Good condition-considering the age. The panes do have cracks. The cord has very light wear and is still intact. The cord and plug have recently been replaced. This is a heavy duty cast base and well made lamp. It’s beautiful, too (as shown in the pictures) It was made by Royal Glass Co. As marked on the bottom. This is a wonderful Signed Royal Art Glass Co. Bent Slag Glass Lamp. Is a beautiful lamp that stands 21 inches tall to the top of the finial, with a large heavy wonderfully sculpted base, 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The base is signed with “Royal Art Glass, Co” along with a symbol that must be their logo. Both the shade and base are deeply sculpted and with a patinated gold finish that is near 100%. You can check it out in the pictures. The shade is 20 inches in diameter and about 8 1/2 inches tall and all complete, no chips or cracks. The colors are complimentary and the lamp just looks great. Original Royal Art Co Multi Slag Glass Handel Tiffany Bradley and Hubbard Lamp
Original Royal Art Company Multi Slag Glass Handel Tiffany Bradley and Hubbard Period Lamp. This is a beautiful early signed Royal Art Company Lamp. It has multi-colored top panels and additional blue bottom. The base is in super condition for its age with no dents or bangs or scratches that I can find. The lovely shade has no cracks, bent or broken overlay in it. It stands about 24 tall and the shade is about 17 wide. The tow toned glass gives off a beautiful glow. This is a very heavy lamp to support such a large shade. Pictures are part of the description. Renew the Past Policies. Signed 1912 Royal Art Glass Co Slag Glass 12 Panel Lamp skyline scene light
Wow what a beauty!!! It does need a SEVERE CLEANING!!! There is a complete crack in a bottom straight panel as shown (it is a break but the frame of the lamp holds it tight together) and there is also a crack in the very top metal decorative piece in the corner. What is glaring is the beautiful art work and the glass color that would take your eyes away from any flaws. IT has 6 upper and lower panels. IT stands a little under 24 tall. The shade is about 11 1/2 tall and 17 12/ in diameter. IT looks great all dirty, can you imagine how it will look once you give it a detailed cleaning. The base is signed on the bottom Royal Glass Co 1912. I can’t say for sure that it is the original base but if you find Royal Glass slag lamps, it certainly looks like it and at the estate sale, they said they were 95% certain was the original base. THIS IS AN EXQUSITE, HIGHLY ORNATE ANTIQUE (ART NOUVEAU PERIOD) VERY LARGE TABLE LAMP. THE LAMP IS ANTIQUE BENT SLAG GLASS WITH AN EMBOSSED BASE. THIS LAMP IS IN WONDERFUL WORKING CONDITION. IT WAS MADE BY ROYAL ART GLASS CO. THEY WERE OUT OF NEW YORK, AND WERE COMPETING WITH TIFFANY & CO. UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE ONLY IN BUSINESS A SHORT TIME, MAKING THEIR LAMPS RATHER RARE. THIS ONE IS IN TERRIFIC CONDITION. IT FEATURES 8 BENT SLAG PANELS WITH AMAZING SWIRLS OF COLOR IN THE GLASS. THE SHADE HAS EMBOSSED METAL THAT IS ALL THE ORIGINAL HAND PAINTING. THE SHADE IS ORIGINAL TO THE BASE. THE BASE IS IN THE ART NOUVEAU STYLE OF THE TIME, AND IS ALSO EMBOSSED WITH THE ORIGINAL PAINT. THE BASE HAS A LITTLE WEAR TO THE PAINT AROUND THE BOTTOM RIM. IT IS A LITTLE HARD TO SEE, BUT DEFINATELY THERE. THE WIRING & PLUG ARE IN TERRIFIC CONDITION AS WELL. THE SOCKET HAS A CHAIN PULL AND IN THE PHOTOS WE HAD A 40 WATT BULB IN IT. THE ANTIQUE LAMP MEASURES 22 1/4 TALL!!! AND THE SHADE IS ABOUT 18 7/8 WIDE!!! WE MAKE SURE THAT WE MEASURE TWICE AND DO OUR BEST TO DESCRIBE EACH ITEM.
