No other makers made lamps in the same appearance or style of Charles Parker, nobody. Now onto the Handel base. Its in fine working order and again there is no damage to report. No dents or dings or metalware loses. This style of Handel base would have been used for their best lamp shades of which would have been their reverse painted lamps, typically bird scenes. The base recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base also with three, and original to the base, matching Hubbell pulls in matching patina. This lamp will command any room its put in and lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table due to its arts and crafts design and form. All in all a super nice arts and crafts/prairie style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was so you cant beat that.
