ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU SLAG GLASS 8 Panel Lamp Intricate Original Filigree Design
Beautiful 8 ART NOUVEAU paneled Slag Glass Lamp. The Shade is in very nice condition with lots of color in this Glass. 8 CURVED Glass Panels in all. Each panel is approx 7 1/2 and the bottom rectangular piece is approx. 7 ” by 2 1/2″. All Glass is without crack or chips. The metal frame needs a small repair Weld (see Pics). The Shade measures approx. 19 inches across, o. Verall height is approx. The lamp base has a single socket with a pull chain with original wiring and in working order. Could use a good dusting and cleaning. Last 3 pics are from the underneath bottom base of the lamp. Maybe a date I do not know. Beautiful caramel swirl slag glass panels on the 8 curved glass top part, the bottom 8 glass pieces are straight and are of the color green with yellow and white swirl providing a super warm glow to any room. This lamps shade with 16 cut pieces of slag glass with the metal filigree overlay is rare as it is labor intense. The filigree overlay runs between the 8 caramel slag glass panels and over the 8 green, white, red and yellow swirl slag glass pieces on the bottom edge of shade. Antique Signed Handel Slag Glass Table Lamp 17 1/2 Gorgeous Intricate Design
Rare Antique Signed Handel Slag Glass Table Lamp 17 1/2 Gorgeous Intricate Design. Up for sale is this stunning antique Handel slag glass table lamp. This lamp is about 17 1/2″ tall to the finial, the six sided shade is 6″ tall and 7 across the bottom. The shade has tons of gorgeous color and the palm trees come alive against a sunset backdrop. There are no chips or cracks in the leaded glass, 3 of the panels have fronds of the trees to the top of the panel and 3 panels have an open area above the trees. If there is some pieces missing it seems odd that 3 panels would all be similar. At any rate it looks beautiful all the way around. The shade is marked with the Handel name. The lamp base isn’t marked and appears to not be original to the shade but it does work. For that reason we are pricing the lamp taking that into consideration, even though the shade is exceptional. Vintage GLASS with SLAG Metal Lamp Shade Intricate Design
Straight from an old house attic: this beautiful lamp shade is in excellent condition. The glass is an orange peach color. There is some spotting and color loss on the edge of 5 of the panels. The 3 screws are rusty looking but move freely. The slag metal is darkened but grips the shade tightly. The shade weighs in at over 4 lbs 10 oz. The widest part measures 12.5 inches. The height is around 7.5 inches high including the metal part (glass part is about 4.5 inches). The thickness of the glass is about 3/8 inch. Antique Vintage Eight Panel Slag Glass And Metal Lamp Shade Intricate Design
The top opening is 3 1/8 inches. Across the bottom of the shade measures 15 1/8 inches. It is 7 1/2 inches tall. It is in very good condition, all eight panels of glass are intact, as well as the intricate metal design on each panel. On the bottom edge of the shade, each panel was soddered together, two joints are intact and six have seperated slightly (see photos for the difference between an intact and seperated one). This doesn’t affect the beauty or function of the shade. Hope you have a lamp that can light this beautiful shade!
