Vintage Hanging Leaded Stained Slag Glass Tiffany Style Swag Lamp Red Green 16
Here is a handsome vintage 1970′s to 80′s hanging slag glass lamp in shades of pale caramel with red and green. It measures 16″ wide by about 9″ high. It has 5 feet of chain and 7 feet of cord, with a switch on the cord. This lamp was hand-made with leading and copper foil, not black goo like the modern Chinese lamps. It is a well-made. Vintage EF Industries Green Slag Glass Table Lamp. A beautiful metal table lamp made with slag glass panels in the shade and stem. Ornate filigree details with a glass finial on top. There is a small bulb underneath the base which lights up the bottom half of the lamp. It’s been rewired with a new cord. There are some condition issues including slight warping of some of the metal borders around the center stem and where it meets the base. Still sturdy and slag glass is in excellent condition with no cracks. Measures: 24 inches tall x 13 inches wide. Weighs: nearly 15 pounds. Antique Edward Miller slag glass panel lamp. Neoclassical, Egyptian revival 1920′s period. 16 panels of glass in all, 8 large upper caramel, 8 small rectangular lower panels in apple green, soft colors. The shade and base are damage free with the exception of very minor filigree degradation at the very top, see close up pics. 16 1/2″ wide shade, stands about 24″ in height including the finial. 2 pull chain sockets work OK. The cord looks to be a modern replacement. I did not clean wipe or wire the lamp, as found so there may be traces of dust etc. Please see all pics. Aside from typical age wear and slight discoloration to the metal frame, the light is in very good, pre-owned condition. The base lights as shown and the electrical hardware works perfectly. The lamp is complete with original parts and measures 13″ tall with a 4 1/2″ square base. The shade measures 7 1/2 across the opening. The glass is free of cracks, breaks, chips.
