Up for consideration is this Floor Lamp with Dolphins &Huge Octagon Bent Curved Slag Glass Shade Lamp. We found the floor lamp base in Arizona. The shade is no doubt early 20th century and was hung in dinning room of old Hollywood home not a mile from the Hollywood Bowl. The new owners from Italy did not understand or appreciate the old treasure. We will consider delivering the lamp to areas of far western US. Please message to discuss possibility. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. This is another lamp we have married. Both base and shade frame have areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. There a couple of clips missing but the glass securely in place. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. Up for consideration is this Rare One of a Kind Awesome Vintage Bridge Arm Table Desk Lamp featuring Antique BentCurved Cream or Beige Slag Glass Shade. It has socket based on/off switch. Generally speaking, slag glass lamps predate Tiffany’s style of lamps. Which was using broken pieces of slag glass, cut or grinding them joining them geometrically as needed to make lamp shades. They were joined together using a foil welding method developed by Tiffany. It is in very good to excellent vintage antique estate condition. We converted the from floor lamp to table lamp. This is another lamp we have married the base and shade. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). It is adjustable (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. Such a beautiful lamp!!! As found, Absolutely gorgeous purple/lavender slag glass from the late 1800s to early 1900s. From the art nouveau period. This lamp is Antique and the FOUR Purple Slag Glass panels are CURVED. This would be beautiful as a Boudoir Lamp or really anywhere as an accent lamp. Glass is in perfect original condition. The cord has been replaced as well as the harp. There is a little paint loss to the hard metal (not lead) which is common in a lamp this old and adds to the antique charm. The light bulb is not included. THESE PICTURES ARE NOT ENHANCED!!! This is how the lamp looks in natural light streaming in from my window, both on and off. This lamp stands – 11.5 inches high. Antique Handel Era Arts & Crafts Table Lamp Light Bent Curved Slag Glass Shade
Up for sale is a beautiful early 1900s slage glass lamp still with the original finish on it and original light socket. Hard to find them untouched. The light works well and the colored painting although faded some is still in pretty good condition please see pictures. The lamp measures approximately 21″ tall to the top of the finial and abour 14 1/2″ across the bottom of the shade. As pictured theres no chips or cracks I took 12 pictures Im gonna zoom in on everyone of them you can see from the inside that theres no cracks or chips theres some crevices in one of the panels that need to be cleaned this is a beautiful lamp in nice condition for its age.
