It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition for shade and vintage for base. There are areas of patina or tarnish and light scratches on base (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. Antique Chicago Empire Slag Glass Lamp LARGE! Professionally Rewired GORGEOUS
This is one beautiful Chicago Empire Slag Lamp with 16 panels. The filigree is perfect. Professionally rewired with original “F” type Sockets, new cord and plug. Measures about 23 inches tall and the shade measures about 19 inches in diameter from point to point. This is a large and heavy lamp (20+ lbs) which will be professionally packed in two separate double boxes for safety. It has very unique glass panels that have a “raised hump” in them. The colors are amazing with multiple hues that are enhanced with illumination. The “spider web” type filigree adds to the allure!
Rare Suess Slag Glass Lamp Chicago Bronze Four Pull Chain Lights 32 Wow
Up for your perusal one amazing Suess slag glass lamp. This outstanding piece does light up and works a ok. We bought this for ourselves awhile ago and used it in our living room. It gives off decent light as there are four pull chain sockets. No cracks in the original shade. This lamp has stood the test of time. Last one I could find. And trust me we have been searching for years. Was on Fontaines as shown in the picture. Please note the capper on this is missing and there are no chains. We elected to leave her as she stands. She is gorgeous. She’s extremely heavy. She’s made of bronze. I’m curious as to what the odd holes are in the base? Are they purely ornamental or did they hold glass vials for silk flowers? I have been obsessed with this lamp for a good while. I could never find another like it nor could I find a manunfacturers name so I was so excited to finally find it on google. I knew it was a very special piece when I first saw it. Again please look at pictures and feel free to ask k questions or school us on it.. As is as shown. A great estate sale find. This lamp has what looks to be the original cord. It is well frayed and needs replaced. I have not plugged in as there are bare wires. Two of the small panels are cracked. This is a heavy lamp. The base is 15 inches tall with bulb socket. Base is 7 by 7 inches. Shade is 12 by 12 inches. Shade is 8 inches tall. Is missing one thumb screw of three that hold the shade in place. Total height is about 22 inches.

Antique The Mosaic Shade Co. Chicago Bent Slag Glass Table Lamp. Post and Base is Brown Fluted, intricately decorated, base #45. Lamp Shade is Cream and Amber Slag Glass with Filagree Design. Two pull chain sockets (look updated) Cord and wiring look original. 24″ to top of finial, 9″ base, shade 16 diameter. Shade 7 lb 12.7 oz. Base 7 lb 12.6 oz. Excellent used antique condition. Some paint missing inside top ring. Some paint wear on finial and some edges of lamp shade frame. No chips, cracks or repairs. Normal wear from use and age. I had to input one combined box size and weight. LIGHT BULBS NOT INCLUDED!
