Vintage mid-20th century and in excellent, working condition. High quality construction with a beautiful patina on the brass pedestal and a welded brass shade framing the four different panels of textured glass. The slag glass is white with shades of golden brown streaking through it which create a warm glow when lit. Each panel has a full color lithograph of men and dogs, hunting and fishing for deer, trout, salmon and ducks. This piece has a beautiful look that is totally unique. The brass is all hand done and the glass has a great color to it. The shade is held up on the base with small wire spokes. An Arts & Crafts Pink Slag Glass Brass Lamp, United States, c. This Lamp makes for the perfect contrast piece while staged in an array of interior styles. The shade includes 4 pink slag glass panels, each are recessed into the shade – It looks exceptional while illuminated. The brass stem of the lamp is nicely styled with a button motif. The underside of the Lamp is unsigned or marked. Condition: This Lamp was rewired with a modernized plug for longevity, it’s fully tested and works as it should. Repairs are shown to the frame of the shade, there aren’t any cracks or repairs in the glass although some of the panels show movement (but do not fall out). The shade was lacquered in gold over the brass plating, the stem and base are solid brass. Dimensions: 14″ wide x 20″ tall x 14 deep. A GORGEOUS Ornate Brass & Marble. Tiffany or Handel Style Table Lamp Base. Everything about this lamp is RARE. The marble base says made in… We can’t tell what the sticker said, but look closely at that marble… (See the photo for the sticker that is under the felt). The dark pieces you see are all cast metal and of course everything shining gold is solid BRASS, including the 2 “Meteor” pull sockets (as well as their pull chains). Even the solid brass finial is something unique. What a conversation piece! NOTE: When we took it apart to clean it, there was an engraving on the bottom Cast Iron piece that said “BP No 20″. This is heavy enough put on Tiffany (or Handel) Style Stained Leaded Glass Lamp Shade. It weighs almost 8 pounds. Measurements: 27 to the top of the finial. The marble base is 6″ square x 1″ thick. Huge Antique Bradley & Hubbard Lamp Base For Slag Panel Glass Shade Brass & Iron
Up for sale is this very unique and large antique lamp base. The very base is Cast Iron that looks to be brass plated with a typical Victorian style. The section above that is Brass (maybe filled in the center because it weighs a ton, but doesn’t attract a magnet at all) and is somewhat in a bullet form, looking very much machine age and Art Deco. Both sockets are 1907 Patent Bryant. There is no wiring, the finish shows wear throughout and it’s a bit dusty. Measures about 24″ to the finial top, base about 7 1/8″ x 7 1/8 and weighs a bit over 12 pounds. I’ve never seen a Bradley and Hubbard like this, I can’t be 100% that it’s completely original, but I don’t see an obvious sign of it being a Frankenstein project either.
