From a New England estate. Stunning Art & Crafts Mission Era antique 6-panel table lamp with carved oak base, caramel glass panel shade. Vintage wiring in working condition (we note an area where a housecat bit the wire). Medium oak finish has attic-dry suface in areas (crackly) over oak. May have had an early finish restoration. Line in slender neck area is tight, stable, commensurate with age, and located on back facing side of carved base. Beautiful original caramel slag glass panels with natural inclusions on slants/sides. No damage to shade. Double socket for standard size base bulbs. Assembled, lamp is just under 24H. Shade is constructed of wood with stylized cut-outs at sides and measures 14 1/4″W and is 8 1/2″H. Base measures about 8W. Handel / Unique Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a super beautiful floral boarder leaded lamp that is the combination of a Unique shade and a Handel base. These often appear out there and as long as they don’t have a HANDEL tag in them or a Handel ring in the top, they are most likely antique (like this one is). This is a guaranteed, period 1905 lamp, and not a reproduction. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the very elegant and well thought out design of this beautiful lamp. The reds are so deep and vibrant and contrast extremely well with the greens in the background pieces. This is a full sized table lamp with an 18″ diameter shade that stands 24″ tall. Its actually a fairly rare version of this periwinkle style shade in that the apron curves in. I think it adds a lot of style and some complexity to the design. In terms of condition, I see a few ties here and there with minor cracks in them. There are over 1000 pieces in this shade, so it is actually pretty hard to notice them anyway. The base is a wonderful Handel quatrefoil with a 3 socket cluster. Its in nice original condition with a great deep reddish brown finish that matches the shade very nicely. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Neither the base nor the shade is signed, but again, beware of the shades like this that are as many that were made in the 1970′s bear a Handel tag. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Arts Crafts Antique Vintage Slag Stained Glass Bradley Hubbard Handel Era Lamp
This is a very nice looking lamp with lots of details in the metalwork throughout. This beautiful full sized lamp measures in at 23 inches tall with the shade at 20 inches wide. The shade is very well made and very heavy which attributes to the overall quality. Maker unknown but of bradley and hubbard quality for sure. No breakage tor losses to be found in the overlay or metal work in the shade and it lights up way better than my photos are projecting. The base also without issue in that it has zero damage to report. No breaks or losses in the metalware and the same goes for the glass in the base as well. Just a real cool lamp from a period in time where lamps meant the world to the owners as lighting was making its way into their homes and lives. Antique Arts & Crafts Slag Glass Lamp Shade or Base, Tiffany Desk Set Style
Unusual octagon slag glass reticulated shade or Whatsit? Measures 9.5 across two straight sides of the octagon. The round hole has a diameter of 8.5 and it appears something once sat there. The other side appears like a base–there’s wear there. It reminds me of the Tiffany Pine Needle desk set, which also has slag panels behind a reticulated or pierced base. All glass panels appear original. Frame does not hold a magnet and has an applied patina. It’s quite solid. Anyone seen this pattern or flower before? Palmate leaf pattern, but not papyrus I don’t think. I’d sure appreciate any help with identification. I’ve seen lots of octagon slag lamps, but none whose bases and domed tops are separate. C 1917 Empire Slag glass Medium size lamp in excellent condition! Stands 19″ tall foot 7″ point to point. Shade is 14″ x 8″. One Hubbell Acorn pull socket works fine.. Vinyl cord in good pliable condition, will not use dried up cracking cords. This one is fine. All filigree in tact. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a beautiful arts & crafts geometric brickwork lamp done by Suess. Super look with deep greens and even some blues mixed in with white and shaded very well. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the very elegant and well thought out design of this beautiful lamp. This is a full sized table lamp with an 17 3/4″ diameter shade that stands 22″ tall. In terms of condition, I see maybe 3 or 4 tiles with minor hairlines, but nothing serious. I see no evidence of repairs or replaced pieces. The heavy solid bronze base has a great arts & crafts look and a wonderful 3 arm light cluster. Neither the base nor the shade is signed as Suess did not sign anything. It is a wonderful, antique, 1900′s era lamp in very fine overall condition. Williamson Arts & Crafts Prairie Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Shade Chandelier
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a wonderful arts & crafts prairie style chandelier. I believe it was made by Williamson, but as with most of these period shades it is really difficult to be sure. What I can say is it is a very early, all came leaded shade that uses fabulous granite backed glass. Its a huge shade as well, measuring 28 in diameter. The prairie style shape means it is only about 6 deep. Just a fabulous look! I will let my pictures do most of the talking here but will note that the shade is in excellent overall condition with no repairs or missing pieces. I see a couple of very small cracks in a few of the pieces, but nothing major or at all concerning. The shade has what looks like its original 3-arm cluster with BRYANT labeled mica turn keys. The chandelier has amazing thick hanging hooks and about 11 of solid bronze thick chain. The cast iron canopy measures 10 in diameter. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to hang in your home. This is an incredibly RARE hanger in wonderful original condition that lights up amazingly. Handel Arts Crafts Slag Glass Mission Antique Vintage Desk Lamp Tiffany Era
That’s huge overall savings folks. I have for sale this very nice Handel arts and crafts mission style pine needle overlay desk or piano lamp. This is not a common Handel desk lamp and this one is in excellent original condition. The amp shade is in excellent overall condition and needs no excuses. No glass breaks, no missing or broken filligree and no metalware losses or breaks. I have always loved these pine needle overlays and i hope you do too. The Handel base is 14 inches tall and the base plate is 7.5 inches in circumference. It has a super nice chocolate brown patina throughout and ribbed embossing at the lower end of the base. No dents, dings, nor damage of any sort on the base and the base stamped handel on the bottom. The lamp still retains its original hubbell socket and acorn pull. A very warm looking desk lamp for an arts and crafts style room or home. Perfect for a Stickley or Limbert desk or something similar of course.
