This is the only yellow a blue slag glass shade we have ever seen, and that is saying something. Normally the different colors would be separate glass. Here the glass is one piece (see photos). It is in excellent antique estate condition. We are lamp nuts and more to the point slag glass nuts! There are age related areas of paint chipping, fading and general ware (see photos). There are no chips or cracks of slag glass. There is a number written on one the inside panels (see photos). Also there is a’L’ and’84′ inside bottom of base (see photos). This lamp is of the highest quality! Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. This is a lamp we have married the base and shade. There is a shade fitter cap and finial (see photos). It has some patina or tarnish and blemishes on the metal (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass (see photos). The shade frame has some chipped missing paint (see photos). Mission arts craft slag stained glass lamp handel bradley hubbard miller tiffany
A very beautiful monumental original antique Buckeye nut and leaf student or partners desk lamp in very good condition. I’m going to have two separate listings for this lamp so I can display more photos of it, so both listings are for the same lamp. This lamp is huge, much larger than any other lamp of this type that I’ve ever seen or heard of. I took one photo of it with a large Handel student lamp in front of it so you can get some sense of its immense size. This lamp is signed twice Edward Miller on the cast iron base weight and Miller on the heavy very finely cast thick real bronze base cover that are shown in the second listing. This lamp is constructed completely from real bronze and brass other than the cast iron base weight making it very heavy. This lamp will command your attention in any size room. Both the original shades have very beautiful slag glass but the shade that has more orange in it has had the glass replaced a long time ago. The original finish is in very good condition. The quility of the casting and overall craftsmanship of this lamp is outstanding throughout as shown. All the very fine metal filigree work on the shades is in very good condition with only two small losses that is shown in the last photos of the second listing. Both of the original Bryant turn key light sockets are in perfect working order. I installed a new paper socket liners for safety.
