Up for your consideration is this GORGEOUS ANTIQUE AMBER SLAG GLASS WITH BRONZE-COLORED METAL TABLE LAMP c. Bronze-colored metalwork is EXQUISITE, with CHERRY BLOSSOM GARLANDS. It looks like Art Nouveau but could be Edwardian with the garlands and wings. Shade diameter: 19 1/4. This area was famous for their glassmakers. I see no chips cracks or damage to shade. I do see some wearing of metal color throughout the lamp base. I feel that it is in very good condition for its age. I will leave any cleaning for next owner. I use only a soft cloth. Vintage Art Deco-style slag glass lamp in lovely condition. No damage to glass, all in nice condition. Uses 3 candelabra style bulbs. I would recommend fresh wiring, as the wiring on this lamp is in rough condition. It works, but I would want it to be new, safe wiring for permanent installation. Gorgeous and in amazing antique condition – no cracks in the slag glass, no cracks in the soft metal framework, and all metal tabs holding glass in place are intact. You can turn on just the base, just the top, or both (see first photos). As with all older lamps, consider rewiring (though I see no fraying or hazard). Each of the 5 base glass panels is 4.5 across the bottom, 3 across the top, with a maximum base width of 6. Each of the 6 top glass panels is 4.25 across the bottom and 2. 5 across the top, with a maximum width of 8. Approx 13.5 tall (to top of brass finial). Please see photos and message with questions. Listing is for the item you see pictured, (1) Antique Victorian 6-Panel Blue Stained Slag Glass Lamp Shade. Outside measurements: 8-3/4″ inches by 7-5/8″ inches by about 5-3/4 tall. The hole at the top measures exactly 0.44in. Structurally the shade is in pretty good condition. It is pretty old. Either way, this is a awesome piece with great potential. None of the glass is broken. Not sure what is is made of, top cap is definitely brass, the other metal looks to be lead or diecast and at one point was either brass plated or painted or both at some point in time.
