Antique Rainaud Carmel Slag Glass Lamp
This is a very classy style with beautiful Carmel colored slag glass. The slag is rich with Carmel color, some you see dont have a lot color and can be bland. Perhaps its the rich brown color of the base that makes it appear this way. There hints of green on the base and flowers on the shade. There is paint lost on the flowers which is a result of its age. It stands not quite 21 ins tall , the shade is 15 3/4 wide and base is 6 1/2. The cord and plug are in good condition. There is no damage to any of the slag glass , they are in excellent condition. Antique Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Shade 8 Panel Large Ornate with Base
From a very fine estate comes this stunning Antique Slag Glass Table Lamp. The shade has 8 beautiful slag glass panels held in an ornate metal frame. I believe the shade metal is bronze as it is not iron. The slag glass colors are wonderful and varied as you can see in the photos of it lighted. The base of the lamp is a combination of metals. The bottom is iron the rest is not, maybe bronze or brass as is the cap and finial. The shade simply rests on the top rim of the cap. The shade measures 15 1/2″ across and 9 1/2″ top to bottom. The base is 25 1/2″ tall by 8″ across bottom. It is in very good condition with no cracks to the glass. I see 3 tiny edge panel chips on the inside which do not show and are not at all obvious. Beautiful Antique Wilkinson Slag glass lamp c 1909. Yes a Wilkinson Slag lamp is built to last and this one has. Some glass has been replaced but all is in great shape no cracks no chips. I enjoy the difference in the panels you can turn the shade to your favorite placement. Stands 25″ tall 7.5″ foot. Shade flat side to side is 17.5″ 7″ deep. Shade weighs 17 lb base is at least 12 lb. Very solid with all filigree in tact. I have to sell lamps to get more I’ve had this some time now time to turn over. If you want what your neighbors dont have, this is it. The glass quality and coloration in the shade very nice throughout as you can see. This is a full sized lamp is measuring in at 24.5 inches tall with the shade being 18 wide so its a full sized lamp folks. The Bradley and Hubbard lamp base has been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. The lamp is in fine working order and going to be around another 100 years. The base signed near the top with the b and h triangle logo. As for the shade that is also good overall condition. No breaks or cracks in the glass, nor any missing glass segments. Again the shade measures 18 inches wide. The geometric design really sets this shade off as well as the coloration and it lights up very nicely and gives off a nice warm feel. This is a very nice looking and designed lamp and it lights up incredibly. Not a very common lamp for sure and this one is in excellent overall condition. This is also a very large lamp measuring in at 25 inches tall with the shade being 20 inches wide, so lots of bang for the buck here folks. The base in good working order and recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base also in original gold patina throughout and thats in very nice overall condition on the base as well. The base without any metalware damage at all and the embossing is really something so please look at the detail both in the base and on the filligree on the shade. The filligree on the shade also in excellent condition with no losses or breaks there. The glass free of chips, cracks, or losses of any sort. Lamp and shade unsigned but 1000% documented and known to be a Parker, so no question to authenticity there. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well.
