The glass quality and coloration in the shade very nice as well as the overlay on the glass. The lamp is measuring in at 11.5 inches tall with the shade being 8 inches wide from corner to corner. This is a very very uncommon b and h base and i have honestly never seen it in this size before and Ive been doing this for close to 25 years now. The arms on the base still very strong after all these years and without repair. The base and shade with its very nice original patina throughout and it’s been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. The cord being green, hard to find i might add, but i wanted it to match the coloration of the base and shade. Also the base is in fine working order and retains its original small hubbell socket in matching patina to base and shade. As for the shade that is also good overall condition. No breaks or cracks in the glass, nor any missing glass segments. All the overlay present and without losses. The lamp lights up and gives off a very nice warm feel and with its small size will fit nicely in any room for sure. Thanks for looking and please check out my other lighting sales as well. Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a beautiful example of Duffner & Kimberly’s work. The shade is done in an upside down basket style, and the peony floral pattern is reproduced twice on the shade. I have seen this style shade with hollyhock flowers, but this is the first example of a peony one that I have come across. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass is all original and there are maybe 4 or 5 small cracks here and there. The shade is 18″ in diameter and the lamp stands 24″ tall. The simple colonial style base has its original finish and sockets and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord. Folks, nice floral lamps from Duffner & Kimberly do not come up all that often and I can honestly say that you won’t find one in as nice or in as original condition as this one. If you have ever wanted a great example of a true Duffener & Kimberly original lamp, this may be the one for you. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period. Antique Large Jefferson Lamp Base for slag or leaded glass shade Handel Era. This is an example of one of the largest Jefferson base lamps made. It stands approx 23 1/2″ tall with 7 1/2″ base. These lamps are often confused with Handel as they look remarkably alike. In addition share the same riser and finial, these larger lamps with their decorative design are considered to be on the same level as Handel (see pictures). This lamp is in remarkable shape (see pictures) with a few flea bites on the original paint which would be consistent with its age. I will be listing some top end lamps that I have available. 4-Light 1920s Floor Lamp White, Gold Gilt, Slag Glass
This classic 57 inch tall floor lamp dates the 1920s. It has a large socket at the center top, surrounded by three candelabra style lights with sockets sized for regular light bulbs. The cast iron base is sponged gold over white with a gold gilt painted circular inset with an embossed scrolly leaf pattern. A clambroth slag glass insert with streaks of green and gold is mounted between the base and ribbed metal column. The white paint has some minor chipping to the center column. The switch knob controlling the three candle lights is missing, though the switch can still be turned without the little knob. The wiring will need to be replaced or repaired, as the original silk-wrapped cord is patched to the brown lamp cord with electrical tape at the base. The lamp has no rust and no signs of abuse or harsh treatment. Almost all my items are antique or vintage and come from a variety of sources. I cannot guarantee that any item is from a smoke-free or pet-free home. International customers are always welcome. Hello, you are viewing my sale for a Superb Slag Glass Hanging Chandelier. This chandelier has a variety of Fruits going around the bottom base Border. This is a Very Large Slag Lamp. It weighs 6.8 pounds and measures 21 and 1/2″ across by 14 and 1/2″ tall with the top covering and 12 and 1/2 tall without the top covering. There is one very fine hairline crack through one of the small panels. It is hard to notice however I wanted to point it out. There is also a break on another panel. There are no repairs present. A And R Co. Antique Large Art Nouveau Lamp and Slag Glass Shade. Please read entire description and view photos for accuracy. I try to be as honest as possible. Here we have a very heavy cast metal lamp with slag glass shade. Gold in color and the glass panels are the classic caramel color. The lamp is approximately 22 1/2 inches tall. The shade is approximately 16 1/2 inches wide. Obviously if you looked at the photos there are issues with the shade. Around the shade you see a small bent on look at picture # 11. The metal part around the is broke look at picture # 6. One of the shade holder is missing look at picture # 10. The lamp stand and base need to be Repaint.
