Lovely 1900 Bradley Hubbard Arts Crafts Caramel Slag Glass Lamp Dark Green Bronzed Base. This is a magnificent ca. The base is fabulous with dark green and bronzed crackled pattern. It is truly a arts and crafts style. The base has very heavy cast iron piece as shown. It is original to this lamp, not added later on. It has two light sockets and old brass pull chains. The lamp is not signed, an antique lamp dealer appraised as a Bradley & Hubbard for the owner long time ago. The shade is extra ordinary. The lamp frame also has dark green with bronzed finish. It has arts and crafts style decorations trough out the shade with urns, bars & foliage. The shade has octagonal shape. All slag glass panels are guaranteed to be original to this lamp. It has 8 caramel slag glass panels and 8 rectangle BLUE AND BURGUNDY color slag glass panels around the rim. The cap and finial is original, quite lovely. It has a very ornate metal work, has acanthus shape aprons below each panel, swags around the top cap, fabulous art nouveau work on each square shape panels. It has 8 triangle shape yellowish ivory color slag glass panels, 8 caramel color slag glass panels. When light is on, lamp is really stunning. The base has 6.5″ diameter, shade measures 16.25 x 16.25″, its height is 7.5″ and lamp is about 23″ tall to tip of the finial. The frame work of the shade is excellent condition without any chips, cracks, missing metal work. Two caramel slag panels have hairlines, one is missing an inch from top, I guess it was just broken off. Two blue red slag panels have a repair each and one panel is missing two narrow slivers from corners The base doesn’t have any damages except the bit of finish loss as shown. Up for consideration is a Rare Duffner Kimberly Snapdragon leaded glass lamp. These lamps don’t come up often and here is your chance to get a real beauty. Pictures do not do this lamp justice. This is a large lamp with the shade being 21 1/2 Dia. The base stands 26 to the top of the finial. Duffner used really fantastic glass in this shade with some tight heat cracks which are very common in these orig. No loose or replaced glass or missing glass. The base has a 3socket cluster with acorn pulls. The base has a wonderful brown patina. The lamp has been rewired with period brown cloth wire and old plug. Antique Old Duffner & Kimberly Leaded Slag Stained Glass Tiffany Era Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a wonderful example of Duffner & Kimberly’s leaded glass lamps. The nasturtium boarder shade has just about every color you could imagine and lights up just beautifully. I think the choice of glass for the flowers in this one is particularly nice, with bright pinks and oranges contrasted next to deep reds in the flowers. These colors blend very nicely and make a great overall look. In terms of size, the lamp stands 24″ tall and the shade is 18″ in diameter. I see two or three small cracks in the shade, but nothing serious. The paw footed base is in better than average condition with a beautiful dark greenish finish. It has what appear to be its original sockets, heat cap and finial. The lamp has been wired with period style black cloth cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. It has just become too difficult and costly to do so effectively. It is actually much better for both of us this way as they will fully guarantee it to get there without damage and if something happens they will 100% stand behind it without any claims hassle. I have worked with this UPS Store over many years and they do a great job with things like this. You are also more than welcome to come and get it yourself, or if we are close I can meet you somewhere with it. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Up for consideration is a very nice Duffner Kimberly floral Hanger. The shade is 27Dia. Hanging length 43 but can be shortened to your desired length. This shade is shown on page 231 of the Mosaic shades vol. 2 Paul Crist book. The shade is in very nice condition with a few scattered heat cracks which is common in these old shades. No repairs or replaced glass. Cracks are tight no loose glass. Fantastic Duffner glass choice in this shade. Really fires when lite. The hardware is all Duffner with a 6 socket Duffner cluster and a Duffner ceiling canopy with large heavy bronze chain. The shade has been rewired with period style brown cloth wire. 1930s ART NOUVEAU SLAG GLASS TABLE LAMP
This 1930s classic Art Nouveau two-light table lamp is made of cast iron (base, shade cap & finial), heavy cast metal (stem body & shade frame), & brass (rolled & embossed Eastlake pattern on upper stem & spun socket bodies). It has the original dark brown finish & patina; surfaces were lightly washed with soap & water. The eight original slag glass panels are green with swirls of white. All slag glass panels are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This large Art Nouveau slag glass lamp stands 22 1/2 tall & has a 18 1/2 wide shade. The cast iron lamp base measures 7 1/2 in diameter. Original pull-chain light sockets are rewired with brown cloth covered cord & a new repro bakelite plug. It weighs just over 20 lbs.
