Up for offer this week is an Art Deco era 2 light library or student style lamp with a T style lamp holder assembly made of brass. Each socket is equipped with ball joint that lets you position each light socket as needed in almost any direction. The lamp body is made of Uranium slag glass with a swirl of caramel in the glass The stepped base is unusual and rare and I have only seen one like it many years ago. The base has 2 small light sockets under the glass allowing you to light up only the stepped base. A 3 way switch allows for the top 2 lights only, the base lamps only and all lights on and then of course, off. The lamp is 20.25 inches tall as measured from the base to the top of the brass finial. The square base is 8.5 by 8.5 inches square and the lamp is about 12.5 inches wide. The lamp weights almost 6 Lbs. The lamp will include 2 Uno shade holder rings with 2.25 fitters and the unsigned feather pulled art glass shades are included and in perfect shape while these shades are not signed, I believe these are made by Quezal. Each light socket has a pull chain switch and they both work perfectly. Overall condition: The lamp has been re-wired and is in good working order – - -the pull chain switches work as they should and the 3 way switch is new. The uranium slag glass pieces that make up the lamp base and body are free of damage, chips, cracks or repairs. The metal frame that holds the glass base is in excellent shape and has most (98%) of its original finish.
