Hello, up for sale is a lovely Art Deco Bohemian Czech light frame cased marbled glass lamp light shade ball globe. Cloudy slag pattern in grey and some burgundy veins. Full moon lunar effect when illuminated. Vaseline uranium glass shade that glowing under UV. Condition: near excellent no chips or cracks for its age, traces of old mounts on fitter’s rim micro flakes, not visible when be mounted. REWIRED Antique Vtg Art Deco Bridge Floor Lamp Uranium Vaseline Glass Brass 20s
This antique lamp is freshly rewired and the brass has been cleaned and lightly buffed while keeping its beautiful patina. The original gold paint on the base and the bridge arm are in nice condition for their age, with small areas of wear that only add to the antique personality and history of the piece. Working great and looking amazing. The amber geometric glass shade (Greek key design) and gold marble pull chain ball are so unique! The lamp has a cast iron base and a beautiful piece of uranium / vaseline glass in the center that glows under a UV light. No cracks or chips in the glass spacer or the shade – just some flea bites around the edge of the shade and some tiny marks, which aren’t very noticeable when in use (see closeups). The lamp uses one standard base light bulb up to 60 watts or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like as they use low wattage for bright light (bulb not included). Stamped “352″ on the underside of the cast iron base. 12-15 wide at the bridge and shade (adjustable shade angle). The shade is 4 1/2″ wide, 4 1/4″ tall and has a 2 1/4 fitter edge. Tested & working as found; the plug and the wire appear to be more contemporary replacements. No problem, just put a blacklight bulb in the lamp! The lamp base has 8 “teeth” it stands on which are in great condition. The lamp is 5 ¼” tall, 4″ across the base, and the base is 1 tall. Because of the low quality of depression glass in general, it chipped easily and it is exceptionally uncommon to find without any imperfections. Since uranium oxide was used in the making of the glass, every item fluoresces when exposed to UV light. Also available on our website. Antique Vtg Uranium Houze Slag Glass Coppered Cast Iron Table Lamp Art Deco. It features 2 sockets on lovely arched arms, and an adjustable center shade pole. It is not marked by a maker or model number; however I have been assured by a close friend of the Houze family the glass at least is Houze. It has an extremely bright glow under blacklight. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It is copper on cast iron, I believe all cast iron. The center pole is brass. It has a neat deco finial as well. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It is in good condition, with no major damage. Has some minor wear to the copper finish, no cracks or chipping. The cardboard around the sockets, meant to look like candles that are lit, has some deterioration- could be replaced. Thank you for your consideration, I appreciate your time. This stunning table lamp from the 1920s features a unique combination of green, brown, and jadeite slag glass, with an embossed pattern of nymphs and waves. The lamp base is made of uranium glass, giving it a beautiful, glowing effect when lit. The lamp is in its original, vintage condition and will need to be rewired for use. It stands at 23 inches tall with a 7-inch diameter base and a 12-inch shade width. This rare piece from the Art Deco era is sure to be a conversation starter in any room. Notice a hair line crack on the shade I cannot feel the crack it does not go through the end.
