Vintage Mahogany Lamp Base For Leaded Slag Glass Pairpoint Tiffany Arts & Crafts

It is unsigned but attributed to Pairpoint. Crafted from rich mahogany, the lamp base exhibits the timeless craftsmanship of a bygone era, making it a genuine piece for collectors and enthusiasts. Measurements – 21″ tall with 7″ wide base. Condition – Good overall working condition. It does have a crack in the base shown in last photo.
Nice Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Lamp by Wilkinson Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really nice looking and early floral lamp by Wilkinson. The reason I say early is due to the use of curved glass in the shade, which was done earlier on. This pattern with the floral border is fairly common in Wilkinson, but the later versions have all flat glass. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, and from them you can see the multicolored floral apron with a brickwork upper part. This is a full sized and very impressive leaded floral lamp with a 18 1/2″ diameter shade that stands 24″ tall. Its in excellent, all original condition and appears to have been very well cared for in its over 120 year life! I see maybe 2 or 3 cracks here and there throughout the shade (which is itself pretty remarkable), and no repairs or replaced pieces. The use of bent glass and really thin lead lines attests to the quality of this maker and really adds to the beauty of the lamp. The base is super heavy and has a wonderful dark brass colored finish. It has all of its original hardware and has recently been rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Wilkinson made some really great lamps and because of the bent panels in this one, I’d say it is one of their better early floral ones. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.

Antique TIFFANY Style LAMP, Bronze Tone Mosaic Glass TURTLEBACK, WORKS GREAT
Here is a Gorgeous & Super Cool Antique Tiffany Style Lamp or Reproduction. Bronze Tone with Mosaic Slag Glass Tiles & Turtleback Carnival Glass Repops. Turn of the Century Victorian to Art Nouveau Style. Typical Early Era Tiffany Design Features. I’m not sure who made it or when, So I’m not sure of the actual age. It’s made of some kind of heavy metal with likely a cast iron like composition (heavy) & antique bronze overlay. Inlaid slag glass and/or resin- hard to tell with some pieces. Electric cord with mid-cord disc switch for easy on off access. 3 Independent Bulbs with Pull-Switches for each 1 to control & set the desired amount of light- All Working Great! Without taking it apart I’m not sure if there are suppose to be any lights on the inside of the base anywhere, but it’s possible that the turleback globe area lights up. & due to this lamps overall condition, it’s likely that if it does, it just needs a bulb. (In my opinion, it does not have an interior bulb &####128524;) I believe the bottom area to be solid & opaque. I found 1 other listing for this lamp but the wiring, cord, & fixtures were broken & there was no mention of internal lights. I did find a Very Similar Lamp (Example Pic) that pretty much looks exactly like this 1; & appears to have a center bulb. So who knows on this 1 &####129300… OVERALL it’s in REALLY GOOD CONDITION! There is some normal surface wear with some scratches & paint chips on the metal, but I didn’t see or feel any damage. No chips, dings, dents, or broken fixtures or wires. This is a Heavy Lamp! It is about 2 Feet Tall (23-24″ inches), & about 8″ inches wide at the base & “globe” area. No lamp shade or lamp shade supports. PLEASE? Refer to the PHOTOS for your BEST DESCRIPTION! &####128640; More pics can always be provided if necessary! I have acquired a fair amount of knowledge in a WIDE RANGE of areas, but by no means do I consider myself an expert or incapable of mistakes and/or mis-identification, labeling, etc. I just list things to the best of my knowledge. This is a piece of American History unopened! I’m offering this unassembled NIB (the original tape was still on the glass box but I had to see if any pieces were broken so I opened it) all pieces look intact! The base is unopened.
