A gorgeous lamp shade with amazing nature-themed detail including baskets of flowers hanging from a vine with butterflies in attendance. The shade is quite heavy, appears to be bronze with some copper-toned plating remaining as well as a shiny brass top. Each pane features a piece of slag glass with blue and green undertones. I don’t believe the glass is as old as the shade, but the color is perfect. I’ve been holding on to this shade waiting for that perfect base to come along–so far I haven’t found what I’m looking for. So, while I wait, I’ll offer this piece in case there’s a lamp base out there…. All pieces look to be in great condition. No breaks or cracks, the tines to hold the slag glass pieces are present. Up for sale is a lamp from our own collection an 8 panel caramel slag glass lamp that has 2 light sockets on pull chains. This lamp has been in our collection and Living room now for several years. The metal work or filigree on the shade frame is free of damage 1 of the clips that holds a slag panel has broken off but it does NOT have any effect all slag panels are firmly held in place. No wiggle or shifting slag panes Guaranteed. The lamp body retains its original factory finish and this original finish is approximately 95% intact. The light sockets work smoothly and the overall condition of the lamp is excellent antique condition. The shade cluster is missing the original cap but one is provided and held in place with the weight of the shade and the finial. The lamp stands approximately 23 inches tall as measured from the table surface to the top of the finial The shade is approximately 18 inches across and has 8 panels From the table top to the bottom of the shade if 13 inches and the shade is 10 inches to the tip of the finial 12 inches if you dont include the finial the light bulb sockets are set fairly high within the fixture. The shade has lovely granite textured carmel glass on the top, and coral glass in the skirt. The ornate base has a really interesting shell like wavy bottom and swag leaf neck. Antique 6 Pane Metal Overlay Slag Glass Lamp Shade Great Condition
This is a beautiful antique metal overlay slag glass lamp shade. It is 6 sided. Each of the 6 sides is made up of 2 pieces of glass. The larger top piece is caramel and white while the shorter piece at the bottom is a light green with an occasional flash of light blue. The metal work is very nicely made and in great condition. At the bottom of the shade , from point to point it measures 18″ but from flat side to flat side measures 15 1/2″ The shade is approx. The shade is in very nice condition with no damage.
