Arts Crafts Leaded Stained Slag Glass Lamp Shade Tiffany Handel 1930-50 Mosaic
A very fine and unusual leaded glass lamp shade made like a mosaic. I only could fine one other similar shade and that was attributed to Handel. It is styled in an all over floral motif and is extremely well made. The shad weighs 9.4 pounds and measures 17″ wide and 8 1/2″ tall. It has its original cap see pic. It is in excellent condition with one small segment showing a crack probably in the making. If anyone knows the maker please message me. Leaded lamp chicago mosaic antique stained glass arts and crafts slag glass
Up for your consideration is an antique leaded glass lamp attributed to the Chicago Mosaic shade company. The pattern seems to be of a lotus flower or water lily motif. This lamp base measures almost 23 inches tall and the shade is about 18 inches in diameter and 8 inches deep. The base has some wear but is in good working condition, it is an unsigned example I have seen before. I had to replace the finial so it is not period. The shade has a few very tight heat cracks but they are barely discernible. They did a nice job so it now looks like the solder and cap have an applied metallic bronze patina over it. I would rather my shades stay grungy and the only time I clean them is when they are heavy with cigarette tar and nicotine. The lamp is still a nice example with a lot of textured glass so it really sparkles. Please look at the pictures I have included. Up for your consideration is an antique leaded glass lamp attributed to the Chicago Mosaic shade company. The pattern is that of stylized lily flowers with a white background. This lamp base measures almost 23 inches tall and the shade is about 18 inches in diameter and 8 inches deep. The base has some wear but is in good working condition and is a signed example. I had to replace the finial so it is not period. This is a fairly rare shade and I have only seen it come up for sale a few times. There is some damage to the heat cap. It is a bit dinged up as people have the tendency to over-tighten them. There are 4 cracked pieces of glass shown in the last two pictures. They are two green pieces and two white pieces on the very edge of the shade that can be repaired. There are a few other tight heat cracks that are not really discernible. The shade displays nicely as the damage is confined to a 3 inch area. The lamp is still a nice example with a lot of textured glass so it really sparkles. Please look at the pictures I have included. Aside from the damage I described all of the solder/copper foil is tight and correct. The lamp is over 100 years old so it is in good shape for its age. Antique Leaded Slag Glass Arts & Crafts Chicago Mosaic Panel Lamp Handel Era
Here’s a great looking slag glass panel lamp that I beleive was made by Chicago Mosaic. What I do know is that it is a great looking lamp with a cool overlay design that is in all origianl condition. The 8-sided repeating country scene has a house and trees and what looks like a pond. Great lamp with lots of color and a super clooking overall design. 18″ diameter shade, 22 1/2″ tall. All glass panels are original and undamaged. All filigree is in tact and highly decorated with great detail. The cast iron floral motif base has its original finish including red higlights on the flowers. It has what appear to be its original Arrow labeled sockets with their original porcelain interiors and satellite ended pull chains. It has recently been rewired comes ready to use and enjoy. Antique Wilkinson bronze base stained glass leaded mosaic floral lamp. The shade is just under 19″ dia x 8.5″ tall lamp overall lamp is 26 inches tall. Very good condition couple of cracked pieces and some separation between the glass and the leading in areas I tried to show it in the pictures. I have owned this lamp for over 25 years and it’s structurally strong and no rattling of glass. Base alone weighs 22.5 pounds. Antique leaded glass lamp stained glass slag glass duffner and kimberly mosaic
Up for your consideration is a very large antique leaded glass hanging lamp shade with an ornate brass ceiling canopy and 25 inches of chain. Tge shade is in good condition with very few hear cracks for the amount of glass it has. Please examine all of my pictures and ask any questions you have as I try to accurately describe my items. This is an antique so I would becworried if there was no damage. This lamp would be lovely in a foyer with a high ceiling or a large open dining area (15 X 15 ft) or larger. The shade measures 25 inches in diameter and 14 inches tall. The fixture and hook add another 4 inches to top of the hook. The three socket cluster and cap are wired and all work. I want this to go to a good home for someone else to enjoy….. Not sit in a box unlit. Antique Chicago Mosaic Leaded Slag Stained Glass Handel Tiffany Era Lamp
Chicago Mosaic made some of the most colorful lamps out there and this is a prime example of one of them. They call this one the cherry tree….. It is bright and colorful and just amazing to look at. All of the glass is granite backed and when lit gives off a wonderful glow. Condition is very good with a few heat cracks there and there, but noting serious. The shade rests on a beautiful tree form base which really adds to the look. The shade is 18 1/2″ in diameter and the lamp stands about 26″ tall. It has its original matching sockets with their original porcelain interiors and ball pull chains and has been wired with period style brown cloth braided cord and an old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy.
