Vintage Antique Victorian Slag Glass Hanging Lamp Shade Light Fixture
Vintage Antique Victorian Slag Glass Hanging Lamp Shade Light Fixture. I believe that this is a hanging shade that should be used in its upright position like in the first picture but its lacking its chains, sockets and there should be a finial in the hole in the bottom which has a little separation to the metal around it. One of the small pieces of glass is missing one of its clips and is taped in place. Overall good original condition with nice curved glass panels showing some typical age appropriate wear from normal use. Please see photos for precise condition. ANTIQUE Pool Table Light Caramel SLAG GLASS Hanging Lamp Fixture Billiard READ
Antique Hanging Pool Table Light Caramel SLAG GLASS Lamp Billiard Dining Fixture. This lamp measures approximately 33″ x 19″ x 10. Measurements are not exact but close enough for you to get an idea of it’s size. The glass is all in tact and has no defects that I could find. It was incorrectly stored so some of the metal work is a bit bent (please see photos) but I was easily able to straightened some of it with my bare hands. The light sockets were replaced and are not original to the lamp, nor is the wiring. But everything else, the metal frame and the glass pieces are all original as far as I can tell. This particular piece would have been made around the the 1910s to early 20s. It is very old and in fantastic shape for its age. The metal work is covered in a floral design that to me look like a bunch of little rose buds. There is also some delicate metal lattice work. I have taken the pains to take as many photos as I could upload. Please see all photos for details on condition. The lamp is stored at a commercial location and can be picked up there. Antique Caramel Slag Glass Hanging Lamp Light Fixture Dining Billiard Pool Table
Very old slag glass hanging light fixture. It was wired, but I removed the chain and wire because both were no good, and most buyers would want to pick a cord and chain to their liking This would be a nice fixture for an island, dining room or billiard table. It measures 30 x 18 x 8-3/4 I could see no manufacturers name on it. There are 2 porcelain? Light bulb sockets, but it looks like a third could easily be added to the existing hole in the middle. You may want to replace the sockets. They are the old style with exposed screws on top that the wire connects to. It was wired with 2 chains that joined to one hanging chain. All the glass is perfect. One of the vertical ornamental brass pieces that covers the solder joint on one end is missing. It is not real noticeable. Otherwise, it is solid and complete.
