Antique Art Deco ashtray lighted smoking stand slag glass chrome AB Mico 1930s. Offering this original 1930′s cast metal smoking set made by AB company / with Mico electric lighter. Stand is marked AB co / 654 on base. It’s about 26″ tall and 11″ across the base and tray. This piece has some issues: 1 the lighting does not work and needs to be rewired. 2 the top handle is cracked but it just screws off and it wouldn’t be too hard to find an appropriate replacement. 3 There is a small chip on the glass section where it meets the ring. I assume that is the maker of this lamp? The lamp is in very good condition, FREE of cracks or chips or repairs. It stands 18″ tall and is 14″ wide across the wings. Heavy, bold, and beautiful! Weighs 8.5 pounds. It has a long cord in excellent condition with the Thumb Wheel switch to turn off/on. The plane lights up, the center section lights up, the base does not. Ornate Antique Art Deco Floor Bridge Lamp Smoking Pipe Stand Slag Glass & Chrome
Has a few issues but all in all a great styled period piece. The lamp has no cord. See last four pics for following issues. The lighter has been broken and glued back together, lighter has no cord so done know if it works, one of the tiered glass pieces has a small crack, the ball has a tiny chip, the one ashtray needs the cigarette rest soldiered back on. These issues are not the worst, they are small and not too noticeable and can be turned toward the back. Will come disassembled as seen and most likely in two packages. Art Deco Chrome Dc-3 Airplane Ashtray Smoking Stand Slag Glass Table Lamp
Art Deco Airplane Ashtray Lamp made by C. Electric Lamps Montreal Quebec. Almost 70 years old now these iconic post war items are getting harder to find, especially in any sort of good condition. Portable Electric Standard Lamp according to the stamp on the bottom of the ashtray table. Most of these chrome lighted airplane ashtrays and tables were manufactured in the late 1940s and into the early 1950s by lamp manufacturing companies in Canada. The following is an exert from a historical perspective of this genre. They were originally made by two Canadian companies, called Metalcraft and another called Electrolite (sic) both in Toronto. There was apparently also a third Canadian company in Montreal that made a slightly different airplane ashtray that had a square tray and square boxes that dropped into the tray and a narrower airplane that had three lines running down the side.. Although the DC-3 was the popular model for these different companies, each made their aircraft slightly differently. This particular one made by C. Features an off switch for the lighted fuselage cabin lights on the side of the airplane. The propellers spin freely and appear to be original. The DC-3 airplane pivots into multiple positions resting on a ball and socket base. There is a beautiful slag glass ball on the base of the stand. Overall condition of the airplane and stand is about 7 out of 10. Height to the tail of the DC-3 is 35 inches and the ashtray table is about 13 inches wide by 11 inches wide. Vintage Art Deco Chrome Torchiere Lamp Standing Floor Ashtray Slag Glass Ornate
Probably from a Grand Hotel lounge 1930′s. It’s very ornate. The ashtray lights in top and bottom, it has new wire, the base stay light when i plug it and top has a working switch, maybe needs to be fix (minor). It’s 12″ diameter for the base and about 30″ high, comes with original glass ashtray insert, condition is very good, no damage, some little plating on base. The torchiere works with a 3 intensity bulb (working) and base light with another switch. It’s 12″ diameter for the base and 60″ high total. Condition is very good, no damage, also some plating on base. I don’t have the shade for it. The set is heavy and solid, high quality made. I never saw a nice Art Deco set like this before, nicer in person, spectacular!!! I will send the ashtray in one box and take the torchiere apart in another box (easy to rebuilt), the middle bar will be send also in another box. It’s also possible to pick it up in Newport (Vermont), i can also do a little bit of road if gas is paid.
